COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Bottle. Pours light copper color with off-white head. Nice floral hop aroma, grass, pine, and citrus. Taste is medium bitter. Medium-thin body, lingering bitter finish. Very refreshing and mildly crisp. Overall quite good.

On tap at Venti’s South. Very well done Fresh Hop American Pale Ale. Despite it being early January, the hops were big, fresh, strong and delicious. Brew did not seem to have aged in a bad way at all. Finish was crisp and bitter. Tasty.

22 oz bottle. Golden amber in color. Smells of mown hay, lemon and fresh green herb. Nice, stiff ad clingy head. Medium body and velvet smooth, it has an intense bitter grapefruit, grain and gritty flavor. The finish is crisp with some of that silky resinous feel in the end. This BEER is very well balanced in the middle with a lot of hop flavor and a more than adequate mouthfeel and malt backbone. Best fresh hop I have had.

Couldn’t tell you how old it was, but here it is almost 01/12 and it was at the store. I couldn’t believe I haven’t rated it yet. Wonderful nose, lots of fresh hop character, it didn’t seem old at all. Very piney, citrus, just amazing nose. Mouthfeel was rather light, and average carbonation. Flavor hit all of the right notes. Finish was very bitter. Leaves the New Belgium Fresh Hop in the dust. Overall, excellent brew. Enjoyability 4/5.

Light color on pour. Great hops aroma right from the start. Very tame flavor but still a nice amount of bittnerness. Really nice!! Glad I have a 22oz bottle!

Great hop scent on this beer, the taste is even better. It has a rather soft bitterness, very drinkable.

From bomber pours a rich, clear orange with a half inch of fine head...great hoppy aroma, not overdone. Yum, likely my favorite Great Divide brew.

Pours a clear copper with nice white head and solid lacing. Aroma is very hoppy and floral. Fresh taste with malt backbone to balance the plethora of hoppy wonder this beer offers.
