COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Tap @ FreshCraft, Denver. Pours a clear golden beer with medium sized, white head on top. Aroma is fresh hops obviously, light citrus, grassy and hay, some lemon in there as well. Flavour is bitter, hoppy with a watery aftertaste. Flavour starts off very nice though, but falls into a watery finish. Decent brew.

Tap at Great Divide Tap House. Poured a clear light bet with a frothy white head and high carbonation. The aroma is fresh grassy hop and pine needles. The flavour is medium bitter, with a super grassy fresh hop weak liqourice palate. Really refreshing. Could drink this all day!

The beer poured great with a nice mildly hazy golden straw color, a nice foamy white head and great lacing on the glass. The beer smells great with a light malt, citrus hoppiness, and corn blended together nicely. The taste is outstanding with a solid mildly bitter orange citrus hoppiness and a subtle malty finish, somewhat bready and yeasty. The mouthfeel is great as the beer is well carbonated, medium bodied, and leaves you somewhat dry but doesn’t burn you out. Overall, Fresh Hop...need I say more.

Draft to pint. Looks good; a transparent brownish orange with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes of fresh hops with a pale malt backbone. Nice and smooth on the palate. A good example of the style.

Bomber bottle poured a hazy orange hue w/ a small creamy off-white lasting cap a minor sticky lacing. Moderate aroma of grass, orange, and straw. Initial flavor is a light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish of long duration. Tastes are prominant grass and lemon w/ a light straw. Wonderfully balanced while showcasing the hop flavor. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, and creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle from Total Wine in Boca Raton, FL. Poured int snifter. Clear orange-light amber with small head and little lacing. Fresh hoppy aroma hits you fast with pine and citrus. Taste is similar but I think my bottle was around too long. I think some of the hops may have mellowed a lot. It wasn’t nearly what I was expecting but it is kind of old. You get the pine, citrus, grass and earth. Smooth mouth with light carbonation. Dry, crisp finish with a lingering pine bitterness. Overall good but I wish I had it within a week or two of delivery.
