Pours a clear orange with white, fluffy head. Aroma is not really in your face, but you do get some of that hoppy, grassy, citrousy smell. Taste is really clean and fresh, grassy again but well balanced. Palate is very smooth, nicely carbonated. I really enjoyed this beer.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is golden orange with a small white head and good lacing. Earthy hops, flowers, grass, biscuit, marshmallows, and grapefruit peel in the aroma. Taste is weed, resin, pine, dirt, bread, and orange with a medium, lingering bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Dry, crisp, and somewhat organic tasting. Pretty nice. Earlier Rating: 10/5/2012 Total Score: 3.9 On tap at the straight from the source. Pour is golden orange with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma; grapefruit, tangerine, light grass, straw, and resin. Taste is big pine, grass, orange peel, and caramel with a big, long-lasting bitter finish. Sticky/mouth-coating body with fizzy carbonation. Really fresh and crisp. Nice stuff.

0.65l bottle shared with my girlfriend at our hotel room in Barcelona. It says that it was bottled on October 14th 2013, so I guess this is one of those futuristic beers that only will be available in the future. This is a blurry near copper colored one with a small sidesticking light lacing off-white head. The aroma is quite fresh and hoppy. I also get some sweet caramel, fruity peach and a good amount of citrus. Light as a cloud in texture and it has a average to soft carbonation level. The taste is dominated by citrus and thin caramel. Also some peachy fruitiness here. So easy drinkin’ this. Fruity finish with tones of pear and passion fruit in the aftertaste. Great divide does it again. Really good! 08.08.2012

Assez collant pour une APA. Le pin, les agrumes, légèrement gazonné mais pas autant végétale que certaines ’’fresh hop’’. Pas vraiment de surprise avec GD, buvabilité extraordinaire.

750ml bomber from Cardinal Wine in Niles. Pours a very clear pale orange with a foamy off-white head. Interesting chunky foam lacing. Aroma has sweet caramel, pine, resin and a vegetal odor. Taste is of subtly sweet caramel, a lot of resin and some bitter fruit. The malt presence is more amplified through the glass. Finishes somewhat sweet with a dark fruity carbonated edge that you don’t get in the rest of the palate. It is fine for a balanced pale. Really non-citrusy, which is atypical.

The beer in the glass is amber colored with a high, fine, off-white head.
It smells very strongly of hops, very bitter with lots ofessential oils and citrus.
Starts with grassy hops, very fruity (lots of citrus and grapefruit),
coupled with intense flavors of pine wood. The middle part is intensely resinous,
with lots of citrus and pine woods.
Goes into a grassy-hoppy finish with pine woods, citrus and some orange peel.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Huhzubendah (1980) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 2, 2012
A: Clear, light orange. The head is small and generates a bit of random lacing.
S: Very fresh aroma of hops and pine.
T: Really tasty and fresh. Not too sweet, a little bit sticky with a pine resin flavor. Bitterness is minimal, but this is an APA, not an IPA or DIPA.
M: Very smooth drinking with any alcohol flavor masked by a fresh hop profile.
D: Excellent beer. I’m glad I was able to sample a fresh bottle. This would certainly be amazing on draft.

Poured into a pint glass. Cloudly amber color. A good inch and half of white head. A really great looking beer.
Aroma: Got your hops right here. Citrus, honeysuckle, grapefruit and a sweeter citrus; like a ripe orange.
Great balance of bitter hops and sweeter malt, with the hops winning out. Of course they do, it is a fresh hop ale. The aftertaste of bitterness lasts for awhile afterward.
Sublime. Very soft body, carbonation dances on the tongue. I am not sure what it is, but the texture of the beer is amazing.
Best fresh hop ale I have had this season and a great ale overall. The body really surprised me, to have the bitterness biting at the tongue with the softness of the beer really created a perfect experience.
