COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Aroma- Really great hoppy aroma, Grass and pine really stick out. Appearance- Pale Golden color with lots of head. Taste- Mild bitterness not a lot lot of strong flavor at all, just a very drinkable beer. Palate- I’d say light to medium bodied, and very refreshing. Overall- A very good beer the taste isn’t as big as the nose which was a little disappointing but if you take it for what it is, a refreshing hoppy pale ale, it’s a damn good beer.

Very nice Fresh Hop Ale. Some mineral notes (Colorado Water). Fantastic head and retention. Great color. Very nice mouthfeel and a slight stickiness. Citrus and malts. Great fresh flavor, very nice bittering, and all in balance. Super drinkable. tasted @ 55F.

Very good hop aroma and taste apparently because they use wet hops. Great pale ale. Had a bomber with Vince while at Cloudland Canyon Grill.

Citrusy hop aroma of a ripened grapefruit makes your mouth water before you take your first sip. Great caramel malt to go with the refreshing hop bitterness in this medium bodied pale ale.

This beer pours a burnt orange color with a rich, frothy head. The aroma is sweet, floral, and grassy. The flavor is slightly sweet with a lingering bitter aftertaste.

on tap at kelly’s. poured a clear amber with a medium off white head that hung out and laced very nicely. smells of sprucy hops with a grapefruit citrus mixed in, and a bit of caramel malt to back it up. taste has a deep hop flavor profile, like grapefruit growing from a pine tree, with a hint of bready malt. moderately bitter on the finish and a bit of a grainy mouthfeel, with a medium body and quite a bit of carbonation. i really dig the hop complexity.

Tasted both on draft and in a bottle on another date. I really enjoy this beer. I find the bitterness this beer has to be very pleasing to my palate. It is not overwhelming, yet at the same time it is very prominent on the tongue. It is not the greatest beer, but it is a solid session pale ale that is even better on draft.

22oz btl. Pours light clear copper with a huge frothy white head. The aroma of grassy hops is so strong that as I crack the cap a foot from my face I get a huge oily whiff of hops and citrus. A fresh fruity start with some subtle sweet malt that builds into a crisp and refreshing hop bitterness. The finish has a sharp citiric quality. A great fresh hop brew.
