Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Amber color with with slight off white head. Malt aroma with a grassy citruisy aroma. Nice smooth malts up front and then finishes with bitter citruisy hops. Good easy drinking pale ale.

The aroma is strong with citrus and pine hops as well as caramel. The appearance is amber with a medium head. The flavor is bitter with both citrus and pine. There is enough caramel taste to make it drinkable but the flavor is slightly astringent. The palate is smooth but not exceptionally so. Overall it’s a good beer but thats all.

Golden straw colored ale that starts with a good head. Piney, citrusy hops with an undertone of rabbit pellets and circus peanuts (the candy kind). Not much of a malt backbone, which causes this to be a little off balance. Good if you’re a hophead. Thin on the palate with a long bitter finish. Take that Keystone Light!

Amber with nice head. Nose of hops and grapefruit. Taste of malts and some grapefruit/citrus....good hop flavor. Good mouth feel with nice hoppy aftertaste.

Bomber. Pour is bright orange gold with a good sized white head. Aroma is hop, malt and a bit earthiness. Initial taste is somewhat traditional ale, with a bit more hop and dry bitterness to it. There is also a smack of sweetness. Finish is a pleasant bitter and more hop.

Nice sugary grapefruit aroma, looks a nice peachy amber in the glass with right spongefoam head. Tangy hop citrus flavor that sticks to your gums, which youve come to know and love. Not too deep, a little bit on the ’liquid’ watery side, but only a little. Decent stuff.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2007 Pine, caramel, and citrus aroma, with a clear golden amber pour and a nice white head and lacing. Flavors are not very interesting. Citrus, hops, and malt. Nothing really stands out.

Caramel in the aroma. Kind of creamy, with a bit of nice sourness on the back-end. Solid Pale Ale.

Cloudy golden amber with a respectable off-white head. Big rush of citrus/pine hops with traces of caramel. Medium bodied with a smooth feel. Flavor echoes the citrus/pine hops aroma. Nice bitterness and freshness.

Poured from bomber, medium amber, forms medium to small foam, a little lacing. Aroma of malts, hops, wet forrest, ocean water. Flavour is hops with a predominate, malt character. Grasses come though, a very drinkable beer. Bitterness is well balanced, overall well made beer.
