Lumpy (1527), Carrollton, Texas, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle. Body-very light yellow lager/pilsner looking with a foamy pearly white thick head. Nose-Belgian, light clove, medium phenols, light white spice. Taste-sawdust, unsweet berry, sharp, very light soap, white pepper, white grapes, medium to high CO2, alcohol bun, light orange pith, very distinctive Belgian yeast flavors, straw, clay/earth, medicinal on the backend, soft. Not bad. A good example of a “light” Belgian beer. A good choice of Belgian ingredients. BeerNeedy (12), Anchorage, Alaska, USA May 6, 2008 22 oz bottle. Not on a par with some other Great Divide offerings but still very drinkable. Not going into the rotation. gunnfryd (2475), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2008 Bottle. Golden / yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, spices. Flavour is yeast, citrus, orange, malt, spices. Easy drinkable nice beer. yngwie (3122), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2008 Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a white head. Pale malt, bananaish fruityness and a little spicy touch in the aroma. The flavor is much the same. Would like them both more pronounced, especially the aroma. Medium body. It’s way to high on the alcohol to make it an all-nighter, besides that, it has the easy-to-drink, quaffable qualities a session-beer needs. (080314) georgekappus (296), Brookfield, Connecticut, USA Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a fluffu quickly disappearing head. Aromas of peach and apricot. Slight bitter taste. Light and bubbly on the palate.
