Appearance: Pours a clear yellow gold with a small ring of white suds that leave behind webby lacing.
Aroma: A mixture of bready and fruity yeast, light biscuit as well.
Taste: A mixture of fruity spicy yeast and spicy hops. Very balanced. Lots of pear and apple that finishes with sturdy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, prickly carbonation.
Overall: For me, this style is hit or miss, not much in between. I give it a hit.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/23/10] Bottle at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Clear golden. Spicy aroma of coriander and some fruitiness. Sweet flavor with a bit of yeast, spiciness, a bit of pale malt and a drier, spicier finish. Medium-bodied.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ansermadide (865) - Kyle, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2010
Sampled at the Great American Beer Festival on September 17, 2010. Very light yellowish color with a light, white head. Aroma of a yeasty Belgian-style beer, almost wit-like. Not a fan of such-smelling beers. This beer actually goes down pretty easily and is very smooth. Once it hits the gullet, however, it’s pretty heavy and filling as wheat beers can make me feel. Funny, with a name like "Hades" I would have imagined a darker beer.

12oz bottle (marked as 7.8%) bottled on 8/02/2010. Pours with a clear golden body (mostly clear) with a minimal and quick to fade head. Aromas of corn (or raw pilsner malt, which my nose sometimes associates with raw corn (dms precursor?)), and strong clove phenols. Some candi sugar and fresh cut grass. Peppery. Taste is clove, peppery, and bready. A bit thin and lightly metallic on the back end. Some vanilla and light banana esters in the finish as well. Light notes of tongue depressor. Kind of ’green’ tasting to be honest. Lively bubbles, medium-dry finish.

The aroma is spicy orange peel, lemon. Tiny hint of banana. Belgian spice sweetness. Half-Belgian ale, half-wit.
The appearance is attractive straw yellow (Belgian white style). Not much head.
The flavor is Belgian spices and some orange rind. Hint of cigarette ash and tobacco. Spicy with elements of citrus pine and an earthy base. Touch of mint leaf, touch of battery acid at the end.
The palate is fizzy as hell. A pretty good, mild Belgian golden that hides its abv well.

12 oz bottle. Pours bright, slightly hazy, goledn in colour. Fine white head. Some lacing. Aroma is sweet malt and belgian yeast, taste is the same, with a hint of hops. Very drinkable. Good!

Poured a lite golden color, little cloudy. Sweet aroma, bananas, orange rine, clove, spices. Tasted on sweet side, but the alchohol content balanced the sweetness out. Body on the lighter side. Ave carbonation. This is a respectful belgium flavor. Would try again.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 thebusstop (138) - Rochester, New York, USA - OCT 2, 2010
Not sure why the reviews have been so mediocre with this beer. It was delightful. The nose was full of sweet and sour aromas perfectly balanced. The taste left a little to be desired as Belgian-style ales go, but still complex. The palate was crisp and dry with soft carbonation. I thought this was a very well crafted brew. Very drinkable, I’ll take another!

Golden yellow bubbly brew. I used a goblet syle glass to bring out the aroma of bananas and belgium yeast. The flavor was light and sweet with a bananas and spice which, for me, slowly started to become less and less tasty. Overall, this beer is just OK and would probably be best with food and not enjoyed by itself
