COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Draft. Light hazy blond coloured beer with a large white head. Light bitter fruity and refreshing aroma. Medium palate. Finish is light bitter, fruity with dry fruity balanced palate. Not bad.

Tap @ the brewery. Pours a clear golden yellow with nice amount of almost white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with a hint of banana. Flavor is sweet and just a little spicy. Some earthiness in the finish but overall a bit watery. Not bad.

As I look at the various rating categories and break this beer down I am surprised that I’m coming up with such a low score. I really like this beer. The aroma is weak, the Palate is thin and a bit watery, the appearance is yellow with almost no head or lacing. THe taste is really great, apples, pears, earth, grass, yeast, bit of cereal, nice bitter finish. Extremely refreshing and a great summer brew. I’m not sure what to make of this. I think I like it more than I can justifiably rate it.

Not bad, but I was expecting more. Clear golden colored brew with a white head. Aromas of sugar water, and some pine hops. Taste is quite bland Belgian yeasts, and sugars. Some hints of floral hops, semi sweet finish. Watery, goes down easy, well hidden ABV. Underwhelming beer.

Pours hazy yellow with a small head. Aroma is citrus, fruity hops and a bit soapy. Flavor is belgian yeast, bread, spices and citrus. Palate is well carbonated with a bitter finish, somewhat refreshing. Some of the hopping obviously has dissopated over time so this probably needs a re-rate.

Pours clear yellowish slightly orange with thin to no white head, carbed pretty well however. Aroma is very typical, notes of biscuit, some slight fruity esters, spice notes, yeast, touch of earth in there as well. Taste is fairly full-bodied, you can sense the alcohol but not taste it. Slight carbonic acid bite at the end, but flavors of biscuit, nice sweet fruity esters with a spice compliment, some slight grassy notes in there as well. Pretty good.

Mild tastes of citrus, hay and yeast. Packs a well hidden punch at 7.3% ABV. Decent, not great.

Pours bright, slightly hazy, golden in color. Fine white head. Some lacing. Aroma is sweet malt and Belgian yeast, taste is the same, with a hint of hops. After a good hot run I found this to be drinkable.

Wow, people are all over about this. I really liked it. Great Belgian barnyard aroma, nice bread flavor in a surprisingly y drinkable presentation and a dryish finish.

Bomber from Bier Stein. Hazy straw yellow with a huge white head that lingered for ages. Big fruity nose with pears, lemon, apple and pepper. Tastes bready/grainy with those same fruit and pepper notes. Solid.
