3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ChainGangGuy (3837) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2007
Appearance: Pours a clear, sparkling light yellow body with a white, creamy head.
Smell: A sweet-smelling grainy nose with hints of yeast, pineapple, banana, and perfumy hops.
Taste: Again, sweetish and grainy, but with a pronounced, sweet lemony flavor and lesser notes of yeast and banana. Light, spicy hops lend a bit of bitterness to the lightly acidic, semi-sweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: I will say that when faced with the task of soothing my harried nerves after navigating my way through Atlanta traffic, the Great Divide Hades did a bang up job.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 15, 2008
(22oz bottle) Purchased at some yet to be known store on Olive Way in Seattle. Good prices and only a couple of blocks West of Stumbling Monk. Lasting white creamy head with a hazy gold body. Nose of peaches, coriander, orange peel, lemon zest and vanilla. Very light and enjoyable flavour - hard to believe this is only 7.3% ABV. Somewhat like Saxo, a staple in my Belgian diet. This beer is very refreshing and crisp. Impressed!

Tasted on tap at Great Divide Brewery in Denver, Colorado. Yellow-orange and a bit cloudy body with a medium, yeast-smelling head. Yeasty and a bit fruity flavor that just a bit alcoholic in taste. Interesting, abnormal fruit flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 notalush (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 26, 2007
Clear, very pale golden pour, with a fizzy, short-lived head - light belgian yeastiness in the aroma, with some banana, floral notes, and a hint of spice - light flavor, tingly in the mouth - light honey sweetness, quite a strong floral character, some herbal notes, and a touch of lemon - a medium hop bite combines well with a moderate spicy character near the end - quite a nice, mellow belgian ale, which is a surprise coming from a brewery that seems to specialize in big beers.
