COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Bomber from Bier Stein. Hazy straw yellow with a huge white head that lingered for ages. Big fruity nose with pears, lemon, apple and pepper. Tastes bready/grainy with those same fruit and pepper notes. Solid.

strawish color; white head The finish is what makes this beer very crisp hoppy finish; clean light sweet malt in beginning. will drink more

Not surprising for Great Divide, this is a very nice Belgian Ale. lemony golden color, almost clear with a very bright white frothy head. sweet and well balanced, with a clean finish

Honey, cinnamon, and lemony nose. Yellow-gold with a pearly haze, Medium head, decent lacing. Mild sweetness, surprising amount of bitterness, maybe a little too bitter? Tight effervescence, has a bright quality to it, finish is mellow with a satisfying alcohol burn. Interesting beer, much hoppier than expected, but after getting past that it is a pretty good beer.

Pours a nice golden colore without a lot ogoes awayf head. What head there is quickly goes away. However, the flavor is stronger than the color would suggest. The spiceness of the hops and even the yeast last on the palet nicely. A very nice beer to enjoy.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with white head, very fizzy look and mouthfeel. Just kinda meh overall. Seems a little spiced, but a bit "forced", so to speak. Nice and crisp, easy to drink given the alcohol content.

November 21, 2008 vintage. Clear golden pour into thick frothy white had that dissipates into sticky lacings on the side of the glass. Aroma of piney hops and malty sweetness. Initial flavor of bitter malty hoppiness which quickly fades into malty sweetness finish. Another drinkable ale by Great Divide.
