3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruity aroma, orange citrus peel, malty. Sticky, sweet to start, decent bitter to finish. Just a tad thin in the middle, citrus dominates. Alcohol is hidden well, this is enjoyable.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Piney-citrus aroma with lots of orange notes--kind of like an orange cleanser. Some sweet malts also come through slightly. This has a very large West-Coast feel to it. Transparent amber/copper color with frothy, long-lasting light yellowish head. Piney-citrusy sweet notes to start with a nice sweet caramelly malty middle. Finishes piney with hops. Hides the alcohol well. Nice IIPA that’s very reminiscent of many of the IIPAs I had on my San Diego excursion.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
(on bottle) Golden orange colour, white head. Hoppy mouth; canesugar, pine. The juniper- and pineapplelike flavours are pretty dominant. Has loads of sugars too, witch makes hard to drink when not ice-cold.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Absolutely wonderfully laden with hop aroma with no warmness from the alcohol. This beer was wonderfully balanced, with its 8.5%abv it rides the line between double IPA and barleywine.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very nice hop presence on this one. Taste is dominated by hops with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Despite this, it still is easy to drink and tastes fairly well-balanced. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. VERY nice hop aroma. Dark copper colour, small creamy white head. Flavour has a very nice aromatic hoppiness. Bitter aftertaste which stays on the tongue for a long time.

Bottle. Amber colour with a off-white head. Hoppy nutty aroma and a light sweet hoppy taste. Medium to full body and a light sweet dry hoppy finish. Great!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This should be considered textbook example of the style. One of the best beers, period, I have had from a bottle. Iron backbone, enough hops to satisfy the biggest hophead, yet backed with a solid malt firmament that keeps it from being too pointedly hoppy. Loved it.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours cloudy golden color with a thick white head. Smells of rich hoppy goodness with sweet and nutty malt undertones too it, although the scent is somewhat weak for an Imperial IPA. Taste is a rich hop bitterness with a slight malt hint to it, would like a little more complexity to it. Aftertaste is kind of sour at the end but with crisp and bely warming goodness.
