Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

If you like an IPA, you will love this. I hope they have this in heaven (on tap, of course). It is the hoppiest, tastiest, most full bodied and most complex IPA I have ever consumed. Packs a punch, too. Highly recommended.

It poured with an excellent brown/dark tan color leaving a moderate off white head. Great floral and citrus tastes.

Amber pour with a thin white disappering head, scents of pine and floral, very malty for an IPA, moderate hops, slightly oily feel, different take on IPA, but very enjoyable.

Pours a slightly red / copper color. Aroma is sticky with alcohol and hop notes of citrus and pine. Taste is dominated by grapefruit and bitterness. Alcohol is not very prevalent in the flavor profile. Mouthfeel is slightly syrupy - coats the tongue. Carbonation on the low end of the spectrum. Very good DIPA.

Probably my favorite IPA, this guy isn’t too different from others other than it being better. It holds a mouthful of flavor- great oktoberfest-like malts and bitter grapefruit-like hops. Definitely a great way to get fucked up. On tap at The Abbey in Miami Beach

bottle 12oz: Slightly hazy amber pour with a thin head. Smell of grassy hops with some citrus with some raisin. Citrus and malts, sweet a bitter end. Smooth in the mouth and mildly carbonated.

12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Cloudy copper orange with flat head, lace, and floaters. Piney resiny orange honey aroma. Honey orange toasted toffee sweet fruitiness with nuts and piney citrus medium bitter finish. Full thick body. Mouth-coating piny bitterness. Nothing subtle about this one. A bit heavy-handed. And not fresh enough.

Bottle.66cl. Big hop aroma, to a bit thin malt feel and taste, the hop is in a good balance, with the overall feel of the beer.
