Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

wow, one of the best double IPA’s out there, definetly not for the faint of heart, had a pint bottle and drank it over the course of and hour and a half. the first thing i noticed was the color is alot darker than the titan IPA, but the aroma and flavor had the same kick. finishes great, definetly get it again.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear copperish amber with a big white head. Super piney and citrusy hop aroma with just a touch of malt. Huge hop flavor with a decent malt balance. Very good DIPA.

A surprisingly dark orange pour, with a dense (though fairly thin) white head. This one has a powerful aroma! Packed with citrus hops - lemon zest and mandarin orange, with a grassy undertone. Big, bold earthy hops dominate the flavor, with a good sweet backbone to counter. This one has a great balance. Nice and thick, but still lively - definitely up toward the top of the list of DIPAs I’ve had.

Copper color with a thick creamy head. Hoppy aroma with very floral aromas. Hop flavors with a slight caramel and malty character. You can almost bite into the hops.

(Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with grapefruit, orange peel, pine needles, caramel and dried apricots. Huge hop aromas. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, grapefruit, pine needles, resin and dried apricots. The hop flavours are backed up by a solid malt structure with caramel, nuts and a touch of ryvita. More than medium body. Fairly sweet with a puff of alcohol towards the end. Seriously bitter finish. So beautiful and so brutal. Lovely beer!
