sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 6, 2008 On tap, amber color with white head. This is one extremely hoppy beer, a good IBU giving it plenty of bitterness. Well balanced with the malt. drjay44 (758), Salida, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 Great nose, fine color, good bitterness, good balance, all sorts of piney floral aromas and flavors working together. Really good stuff!! badbeer (432), Iowa, USA Jul 5, 2008 Amber color with a slight red hue and a creamy off white head that stays throughout the glass and leaves very nice lacing. Grapefruit and pineapple and a bit of lemon flow through my nose leaving me to wonder if anything could smell better. Taste is full of grapefruit, pine, pineapple, and a little bit of caramel in there. A slight alcohol presence. Less than average carbonation and medium bodied, paired quite well. An exceptional brew and very fairly priced to boot. I’ll be picking up more of this, try it if you can.
12many (231), Ohio, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle. Copper with a nice but unimpressive head. Lots of piney hops with a floral arrangement in there. I prefer more of a citrus aroma myself. Good bitterness with a cleansing mouthfeel. A great beer but I really expected to be impressed and I wasn’t. edmajorjoe (79), Vail, Arizona, USA Jun 28, 2008 i love this beer. great dark look with floating yeast. excellent taste and amazing palate. highly recommended. highibus (421), Mill Creek, Washington, USA Jun 28, 2008 pours a beautiful amber almost chestnut. I love the floaty yeast in this. aroma is big hops and plenty of malt. flavor is hoppy hoppy and a nice malty backbone. very good. Tweety (337), Vancouver, Washington, USA Jun 25, 2008 ACBF 2008. A solid DIPA, nothing too spectacular though. Lots of hops with some slightly evident malt character. What you expect from a good DIPA. joet (1699), Fulton, California, USA Jun 25, 2008 thgis is a test rating - got this in socal on a trip a while back and its been cellaring for abotu a year - it’s obvious offf and I will delete this rating very soon -- j
