RomanW70 (297), Providence, Rhode Island, USA Mar 18, 2008 Pours deep amber with a frothy white head. HUGE hop aroma with some notes of flora, citrus and pine. Taste starts off with malt smoothness, slowly descending into a huge bitter finish through piney and floral hops finishing with some grapefruit sweet tartness. DaMenace123 (250), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 14, 2008 Draught at the brewery in Denver. Well you know what you are getting with a double IPA. Citrus hop aroma and flavor is very strong hops - piney and citrusy, sweet malt for balance. BorksBabe (81), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 8, 2008 It’s not too bad for an IPA- most are too hoppy and this seems just right. A little bitter on the palate but the aroma is nice and fruity. Slightly thick white head. I like it. fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Mar 5, 2008 Bottle pours a cloudy dark amber color. Head retention is good and aroma from the glass reminds me of a beautiful bouquet of flowers hand delivered on valentine’s day. Has wonderful taste and flavor with a strong malt character with some floral notes that make want to make beer love to hercules style. Very tasty. Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Mar 4, 2008 Orange colour, white head. Aroma has pine hops. Flavour is bitter and of pine hops, and very malty in the end. Very nice.
