Commercial Description:
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules' aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Orange colour, white head. Aroma has pine hops. Flavour is bitter and of pine hops, and very malty in the end. Very nice.

22oz bomber from a trade with thecheeseman. pours orangish/brown with a small white head. aromas are complex malt and hop swirls that jump out of my snifter without any effort on my behalf. very sweet malt smelling while the hops play a background role. flavours are reversed. lotsa hops but a very sturdy malt backbone holds this brew together. the finish is a touch to bitter but other then that i loved this one.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a nice size off-white head and decent lacing. Nose is pine and citrusy hops and a touch of malt. Palate is piney hops first, then malt overtones. Bitter hops and alcohol aftertaste. A nice IIPA.

Damn. That’s nice...although, getting a little typical. Very hop-forward, soapy smell and quite a sweet, syrupy body with not too much bitterness and all kinds of citrus flavours. The alcohol is quite evident in the finish, although the somewhat light body makes it insanely swillable. Nothing unusual about this, just a good, bold beer.

On tap. Pours a deep ambe with a thick white head. Lots of sweet malt on the nose with faint hops. Taste is pretty sweet, a little thicker than expected. Finish is sweet with plenty of hops.

Flaske. SUperlækker duft af frugt og blomster slår en i møde fra denne øl. Flot orangefarvet farve, med et lille skumhoved. Kraftig smag af frugt og blomster med en markant bitterhed til at slutte det af på. Rigtig god øl.

pours pale to dark orange with little head. Lots of sediment floating around. Looks like a bottle conditioned beer. Nice flavor though. Big hops with a good malt backbone. Nice finish.
