3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 mL bottled Oct 2nd, opened Dec 9th. Appearance: Clear bronze, hint of white head. Aroma: Light hops, discrete sweetness, popcorn, light finish of alcohol. Palate: Medium thickness, light carbonation. Flavor: Medium hops and robust bitterness to start, ? touch of butter and popcorn, lingering bitterness. Not much else tasted. Overall: Good, but not great DIPA, I couldn?t perceive much complexity to it. Bad sample? I?ll have to pop another one.

Heard great things about Hercules DIPA,So got a 4 pk and was prep passed for a really outstanding DIPA..12oz.bottle poured into pint glass..nice copper color, good hoppy aroma..but then..the taste..maybe it’s me, maybe it’s cuz bottle date was Aug 23..bought it thanksgiving eve..but found this very underwhelming..I’ve had other DIPA’s that were incredible, this wasn’t one of em..maybe I’ll try it again another time.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours clear and coppery with a thin white head. Aroma is candied orange & faint molasses - this is the sweetest smelling DIPA I’ve had! Taste is crazy good! Sweet overripe citrus, tobacco, something leathery. Let’s put it this way: It’s like drinking an exotic IPA in the Victorian Age and smoking a vintage cigar while seated in an old leather chair.....in the study.....in the manor. Wow! (That was just the finish after a beautiful ride).
It was so good, I forgot to give it a score!!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bu en bouteille de 33cl, une couleur ambrée excellente mousse longue. Cette bière a un goût riche à base de litchi et d’agrumes, et une richesse en fin de bouche persistante un must !

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very good double IPA, given that I don’t usually care for double IPAs. Pours copper color with little head. Citrus, oaky notes with a nice floral aroma. A surprisingly well-balanced beer.

Beaucoup de houblon. À peine d'agrume au nez qui disparait au goût. Pour les amateurs de double IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2013 bottle to an IPA glass. Pours a light copper color with a big creamy off-white head that settles into a big dollop. Great sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet malt with citrus and pine hops and distinct alcohol smell. Taste follows nose with more sweetness and caramel. Alcohol is also apparent with a subdued bitterness. A full creamy mouthfeel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beer pours an orange copper color with nice off white 2 finger head. Aroma is juicy! A bit of dank pine, layered with big citrus. Bright orange and hints of lemon. Some floral notes and some definite sweet malt notes coming through. The palate is very sweet. Very sweet notes up front. Big pineapple coming through. Middle of the palate is a bit more bitter with some citrus coming through. Finish begins with sweet malts and rolls into bitter pine. The alcohol is not present except on the exhale. Nice lacing on the glass, Definite alcohol legs.
