COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppier, maltier and with more alcohol than a standard IPA, Hercules Double IPA definitely is not for the faint of heart. Hercules Double IPA is, however, an elixir fit for the gods. A brash but creamy wonder, Hercules pours a deep orange-coppery color, forming substantial lace in the glass. Hercules Double IPA delivers a huge amount of piney, floral, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor from start to finish. A hefty backbone of nutty, toffee-like malt character balances Hercules’ aggressive, punchy hop profile. 85 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

A hazy amber beer with a caramel colored disappearing head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of caramel and oil. The flavor is lovely hoppy with notes of the oil from the hops before a dry hoppy end sets in. A lovely IPA.

(Bottle 65 cl) Dark amber, thick, creamy off-white head. Incredibly fruity nose with hints of....pineapple! Beautiful hoppy aroma with lots of fruity esters - again. An underlying sweetness almost drowned by an extreme bitterness, but also an extreme experience. 310505

22 fl oz bottle. Pours deep golden orange with a lacing off-white head. Pineapple and caramel malt aroma, light citrusy note. Flavour is fruity with light peach and pineapple notes, dry wooden touch and a breadish malt base. Dry bitter and yet light sweet fruity finish. Goes really dry in the far finish.

Bottled. A bit hazy orange colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma was flowery and fruity hops. Slight caramel, and nuts also. Flavour is nutty, hoppy and a bit caramellish. Hides it’s alcohol quite well, but alcohol shows in a quite warming feeling while you drink.

Bottled, thanks Dr.Bill! Reddish amber. Restrained hop aroma. Hugely malty with clean rounded mouthfeel. Dominated by citric, perfumy hops. Lingering very bitter finish.

Dark amber color; generous creamy head. Wonderful aroma, the hop has fruits, resin and pine needles; also a bit sweaty. Strong and round body, massive caramel and toffee flavor, sweet as necessary, with extreme hopping, very resiny over all. It’s not a fresh bottle (maybe a couple of years old), the ageing allows to better blend the components, and it’s too hoppy to feel any change in the bitterness department.

Hazy amber color, yoghurt-like head. Strong aroma of fruity hops. Strong body, supporting extreme flavors, where the toffee reigns, the resiny hops as well, and it has the required sweetness. An angry monster.

Hazy orange - light amber color; creamy head. Wonderful aroma, hops, fruits (oranges, grapefruit, ...), herbs, ... Excellent malty body, quickly overwhelmed by a crazy hopping, rising and rising... The final is strong, aromatic and very long, with more than a touch of bitter oranges fruitness. Extreme!
