Woah!!! Very good. Pours a lovely copper color. Like molten bronze with a frothy head. Head is giant and never leaves my glass soo huge and creamy looking. Nose is of berries, hops, hops, hops and peanuts. No really berries hops and peanuts. Thats what’s in there you jerks!!!
On the tongue the palate is exceptional. Excellently coating and at the same time nicely refreshing. To put it in my friends words...the palate lingers nicely after you have tasted the draught. Notes of Peanut butter, blueberries, hops...both floral and bitter. So quenching and refreshing. Excellent brew. If you can get your hands on it freaking drink it.

Surprisingly sweet fruity aroma with some hoppy tones but not a lot. Fresh and nice. Dry and bitter hoppy flavor with a sweet fruity middle. Flavorfull and very well balanced. Soft and smooth and really tasty. Thanks Jacob Lövenlund and MartinKubert for sharing! sstackho (249), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The original beer-importing plan for this trip was to bring home some Great Divide Titan IPA, but that plan was foiled by me realizing that I can’t (legally) bring beer back home over the border to Canada duty free on this short trip... To drown my sorrows, I head to Bukowski’s to discover that they have the Great Divide Hercules Double IPA on tap! And oh my, was it good. Hoppy, full, wonderful. Every sip went down gloriously and the taste stayed in the mouth until I replaced it with something else. Heaven in a glass.

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 2, 2006 I have had this beer a couple of times. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel color with a huge yellow-tan head. The aroma is strong peppery and piney hops. The mouthfeel is thick and syrupy. The flavor is strong fruity and piney hops with a sweet caramel and molasses element. The finish is bitter and hoppy. Of note I have had this beer on draft a few times and find it to be less thick, yet more sweet and fruity. I like both versions but l like the draft a bit better. BennyTicklez (621), USA

Big time aroma of grapefruit and other citrus aspects. Taste is grapefruit hoppiness at the start with a malty alcohol kick at the end. A great, well made double IPA. Tons of grapefruit hops with the malt balance creating somewhat of an orange aroma. Pours a transparent reddish-orange with a nice white head with a little yellow tinge with great retention. Excellent lacing. Initial maltiness is combined with a excellent grapefruit hop finish. Very well balanced. Not as sweet as some IIPA, but balanced extremely well. No alcohol is noticeable. Excellent beer. Have been waiting to try this for some time now. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

The malt smoothes it out, without deterring from the yummy hoppiness. Smells of grapefruit, tastes bittersweet. I didn’t know I could get this kind of flavor in a double IPA. It’s very attractive, retains the head well, begs to be enjoyed.
