Had this is 5/17/2004. Aroma is fresh and hoppy. Color is a hazy orange with good carbonation and a nice head. Taste is bold and hoppy. Starting with a full/medium body that goes down with a bold rich feel. Finish comes on with a rich malty flavor that is backed by a fresh hop flavor and a full hop bitterness. OK this is the best beer Great Divide has ever made. This beer kicks ass, it is full of flavor, it’s rich, hoppy, and bitter, and all of this is very well balanced. The only bad thing is, it is a bit rich, not like Arrogant Bastard, in fact it seems mild compared it that, but it is still a great beer.

Oct 4, 2008 Muted copper pour with a thick off tan stable head. Hops, grapefruit, caramel corn and coriander aroma, very complex. I can taste the malt and hops. Upfront maltiness with a bit of chocolate, long citrus hop finish. Palate is a bit weak as no coating or thickening is noticed.

Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Hazy orange color with a white head. Floaties. Aroma: Hopppy, floral, citrus. apricots and sweet malt. Flavor: Hops, pine, nutty malt, apricots, grape, aspirin, oranges, grass, alcohol, sweet malt. Very hoppy, but also balanced and almost smooth. Medium to full body.

Oct 4, 2008 Orange pour with thick white head. Flowery, spicy and hoppy aroma. Citrusy, hoppy, and slightly salty. Bitter finish. Great IPA.
