jainsv (112), USA Feb 6, 2007 Pours a deep orange color, rather uncharacteristic of IPAs i’ve tried, with a decent lacy off-white head. Smells of hops primarily with a litlte spice. Has the aggressive bitter hops taste that characterizes IPAs but has enough malt to temper it so that it tastes excellent. You can taste hints of citrus in it as well. One of the best IPAs I’ve had.
brokephibroke (48), , Colorado, USA Oct 4, 2008 Muted copper pour with a thick off tan stable head. Hops, grapefruit, caramel corn and coriander aroma, very complex. I can taste the malt and hops. Upfront maltiness with a bit of chocolate, long citrus hop finish. Palate is a bit weak as no coating or thickening is noticed. ghawener (699), San Salvador, El Salvador Oct 4, 2008 Thanks to rsamayoa.
