3.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Enthused to pour this top-rated bomber driven up from San Diego & brought to market by our local bottle shop. Looks tremendous in pint glass: apricot colored with moussy white head and champagne-like cascading. A showy malt aroma, yet disappointingly little by way of hop aroma-- only scant piny notes. This beer offers a lot to the senses when sipped, as itís gushing with caramel sweet crystal malty core and plenty of piney hop flavors, then leaves a a resiny hop bitterness on the lips. Nearly-full bodied, a bit sweet, but does dry out some in finish. Alcohol notes become more prominent when I worked my way through it, but not distracting. As it warmed, it came to have some fruity, and heavy qualities I associate more with barleywine. So glad for bottle-dating. This one was two months old, plus itíd done some traveling from Colorado to NorCal via San Diego; Iím quessing this quashed some volatile hop compounds. Iíd like to try again with original aroma intact.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355 ml bottle at Man in the Moon, Stockholm.
Dark amber to copper, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Delicious, complex aroma of citrus, stone fruits, berries, tropical fruits, vanilla, caramel.
Taste is also amazing, with about the same aromas and adds pine and even more smooth malt notes of vanilla, nuts, biscuit.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty, piney, with some sweet malts.
Amazing! Very very smooth, the ABV is completely hidden. The hops are very fruity, with lovely stone fruits and berries and the malt backbone is one of the smoothest and most distinctive Iíve experienced in an IPA so far! I imagine this to age very well. One of the very best IPAs Iíve ever had!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pine, citrus, and flowers in the aroma. Strong bitter flavor, with pine and fruit, and a nice underlying caramel malt. Bitter finish with some alcohol. Really good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours cloudy amber orange, one finger head, suspended lees, lots of lacing and good retention. Aroma of dark caramel, grapefruit and flowers. Taste is mostly bitter on top of a lot a sweetness from the malt bill. Full bodied, low carbonation, thick creamy mouth feel. Finishes bitter with notes of yeast, tropical fruits, candied sugar, resin and aromatic bitters. This could be an old bottle which may or may not be bad. This beer is pretty damn good!

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This ones a no brainer for me. Itís a perfect Double IPA in my opinion. I loved it just from pouring it. Looks amazing. Dark amber with a pillowy head. Aroma isnít what I expected. It has a really nice malty sweet aroma with really floral hops. Taste is just awesome. Massive bitterness right at the front of the tongue followed by sweet tropical fruit. Tons of citrus and earthiness as well. This isnít just a run of the mill DIPA. This one is a real punch in the face in a great way. You can taste how much work went into making a beer of this quality. Really awesome stuff, a must try for sure.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is sweet hoppy caramels and the taste have a round, malty body with a resinous oil sensation. The standard notes of peach and tropical fruits is here, and there is hops doing their job, even if they are a bit tired from the trip overseas. Double the malts, double the hops, double the ABV. Whatís to dislike?

Bottle shared at a tasting on a yacht at the Herzliya Marina. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for the delivery! Hazy orange with white head. Rich fruity aroma, a little cherry and cheesecake too. Bitter, a little leafy, with hints of sweetness in the mouth. Medium body, long, bitter finish. A little old.
