COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
HEYDAY is an eminently pleasant Belgian-Style White Ale. Brewed with barley, oats and raw wheat, Heyday is uniquely flavorful for such an easy-drinking ale. With a slightly cloudy appearance and traditional yeast, it is a balanced, agreeable offering. Exuding mild hop bitterness and a nuanced body, this is the easiest decision you’ll make all day.

Average to above average Belgium white, a little bit boring. Lite and a little bit zesty.

Aroma is citrus and medium/strong coriander. The flavor is citrus, medium coriander, wheat and a tangy/slightly tart finish. A little too much coriander/similar to a lot of imperial wits, not bad but not great.

From a bottle. Pours a cloudy, light gold and makes a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of wheat and cereal, and a bit of lemon and spice. Tastes like a wheat beer, bready and light and citrusy. Not the best if the belgian white ales, but a decent one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, bottled on June 13, 2014, poured into weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy really pale golden with very little white head. Aroma is light lemon, light body, little carbonation, and little really small bubble lacing. Taste is grain with hints of lemon. Little flavor, tastes like some home brews I have had.

Bottle from Lazy Dog. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of wheat with some citrus, but very faint. There’s something else I can’t place that takes away from the aroma. Taste of wheat and bread malts, hints of spice and lemon.
