COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LASSO is the new frontier of India Pale Ale. Brewed with a robust roundup of Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops, its sessionable simplicity proves bigger isnít always better. But make no mistake Ė the Wild West hasnít gone mild. That same untamed IPA spirit thrives, and we reckon thisíll go down mighty fine.

Served out of a tap at a bar. Good ipa. Doesnít live up to other great divide beers but is a solid ipa.

Draught @ Taylor & Jones With a Twist, Hornstull. Golden amber with some chill haze and a short white fluffy head that stains the glass. Pungent salty fruity hoppy aroma with notes of mango, grapefruit, passion fruit, resin, marmalade and leather. Feels very GD. Taste has a pretty nice mix of tropic and citrus, marmalade caramel and salty notes of leather and resin. Grapefruit, mango and peach. Medium bitterness. Slightly faded hops leaves it a bit empty in the aftertaste with some mineral/metal. Medium dry. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Itís definitely in the range of other GD IPAs Iíve had, with that pungent saltiness, but it works out pretty fine in this one.

Bottle from New Frontier Market, Eugene. Pours a slightly hazy orange, decent amount of off white head. Aroma decent if a bit heavy, biscuity, citrus. Body lively, but finish lacking, no clear hop bite. One of GDís more disappointing seasonals.

A decent session ipa. Grassy and piney. Some straw malt flavors. Light bodied and super drinkable. Mission accomplished. Essentially a light Titan.

Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out a well carbonated golden color with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is of bread, cereal, lightly fruity hops, and some herbal notes. Taste is a mess of citrus, herbal hops, grass, lemon, grainy bread, cereal. Meh

12 oz. bottle from Samís Bottle Shop, Durham, NC. Yellowish-orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of lemon zest and wet grass. Bitter hop taste of pine, grapefruit rind, and grass with an equal balance of sweet malt. Hop bitterness does not linger. A nice sessionable IPA but I donít know that this comes across as anything different than an APA.

Some bitterness, pours orange with ok head and lacing. Finishes bitter and citrusy with a little malt. Mostly towards the hops. Comes together ok with average carbonation. Tap at Summerfest DC.
