3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Sparkyís. Light citrus, pine and caramel. weak in the middle and not much of a finish. Would rather have a Great Divide APA.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Pours clear honey color. Aroma of citrus, grain, pine. Very low aroma. Flavor is spruce, caramel, citrus. Overall, not a bad beer. It has enough character to make it drinkable. It isnít a real standout though. Something that I would choose for the lower alcohol content, but still with a nice hop to it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice primary flavors, but just not much complexity going on in the background. I don't like to let alcohol content play a big role in reviews, but the lowly 5% is apparent with the soft backbone on this one. Reach instead for Great Divide's Titan IPA, blows this out of the water.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It likely gets a higher score because I had this with pizza, which it seems perfect for. After having some on its own, it seems like itís missing a piece of the puzzle. The hops are there, but it doesnít seem to have anything in the background or partnering with the hops. Itís OK, but I wonít be getting it again as there are much better choices for a session IPA.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20
Minty grass and tea hop aroma. Cloudy amber, medium head, chunky, lacy. Grass and tea flavor, somewhat resinous. Rather than low bitterness, it goes the other way. Hop bill is pilsnery. Kind of stale. Great brewer, strange interpretation of the style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy, bright orange with quickly dissipating head. Nice taste up front, light yet flavorful, quite chuggable, only improvement could be in the finish. My favorite "session" IPA at 5%.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Clear gold. Aroma of grain and some mild floral notes, I guess pilsner malt. Very bland taste, no hop flavor or particular malt character. Light mouthfeel with a bit of resin. Not particularly bad but, no real flavor. Even though itís a session beer, it should have more flavor than this. Disappointed!

Draft. Let's be real: not Great Divide's most impressive beer. Session-able yes. But not close to the Titan which is a most crucial IPA. There are hops yes, but I am getting overall water feel. Not too excited about this.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Small white head thats short lived with some slight, splotchy lace left behind. Clear, light copper color. Nose is mostly malts, grainy along with some weird berry notes. Body is light, tingly carbonation. Just dry malt flavors, grainy, toasty with some notes of oxidation. Dry finish, no real bite but more of an astringent finish. Shame, was expecting more from the folks at GD. Bottle from statelineliquors.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright, filtered amber appearance with a large off white head and decent lacing. Biscuit-like, malty aroma with random notes of citrusy hops in the background. Subtle bitter flavor as the hops move to the forefront, leaving a clean, dry aftertaste. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel with a short lived finish.
