COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LASSO is the new frontier of India Pale Ale. Brewed with a robust roundup of Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops, its sessionable simplicity proves bigger isnít always better. But make no mistake Ė the Wild West hasnít gone mild. That same untamed IPA spirit thrives, and we reckon thisíll go down mighty fine.

12oz bottle. Pours clear honey color. Aroma of citrus, grain, pine. Very low aroma. Flavor is spruce, caramel, citrus. Overall, not a bad beer. It has enough character to make it drinkable. It isnít a real standout though. Something that I would choose for the lower alcohol content, but still with a nice hop to it.

Pours a finger and half of foamy head on a hazy straw colored body. The aroma is mild pine and honey; thereís an off-smell too. The taste has a dry pine bitterness throughout, a mild malt sweetness joins in the middle. A little watery in the flavor. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. The smell isnít great and the flavor is okay.

Bottle from Johnís in IC. This is not one of Great Divideís better efforts. Thin, no real head, not a lot of flavor. Itís OK, but nothing really to speak of.

Pours a Light hazy orange decent head & lace.

The aroma is a touch grainy, but still juicy & has a mild fresh hoppiness.

The flavor is nice, plenty hoppyíwith nice citrus & melon notes. Itís lightly sweet, maybe sweeter than Iíd prefer it to be, but hey... Itís manageable & itís tasty.

Alpha10 (335) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 16, 2014
2014/09/17 - Pours a hazy orange-amber colour with a soapy, off white head that quickly vanishes. Minimal. Aroma is apple, cereal grain, citrus and mild pine. Taste is earthy/vegetable hops, mild apple, grapefruit, biscuit, cereal grain and pine. Mouthfeel is thin with average carbonation and a slightly sweet, mildly bitter, long drying finish. Ok, but nothing special . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy amber color, small color. Moderate cereal character, dry, fairly hoppy and bitter.
Nice but too much cereal character.

mcberko (6516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 13, 2014
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite muted, with piney hops, vegetal notes, and a slight biscuity malt backing. Flavour is bland, with notes of dry, astringent hops, with a very thin dry malt backing. Not very interesting here, but nothing off-flavoured at least. Decent, but unexciting.

Bottle at home while visiting Seattle. Pours gold with a white head. Caramel, orange sponge cake aroma... Light body, medium carbonation. Grassy, lemon, light tangerine, light pine, a hint of wood... A bit thin too. OK.
