COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LASSO is the new frontier of India Pale Ale. Brewed with a robust roundup of Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops, its sessionable simplicity proves bigger isnít always better. But make no mistake Ė the Wild West hasnít gone mild. That same untamed IPA spirit thrives, and we reckon thisíll go down mighty fine.

Bland, boring, forgettable, not bad, not good, truly the middle-of-the-road. As "session IPAs" go this is one of the lesser ones Iíve tried, seems like GD isnít giving themselves enough credit with some of their recent new releases. They used to make lots of really exciting stuff.

Pours clear yellow with medium tan head out of bottle. Atone of grass, hay, biscuits, hops, and citrus. Very dry hop flavor with smooth citrus and caramel flavor. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours from 12 oz bottle a yellow hay hue, with floaties evident, forming a slight off white head of foam. Aroma upfront with Scottish field grass, pine resins, barn hay, with a yeasty caramel biscuity goodness. Flavour is grassy, husky straw, lemon, orange peel, potent grapefruit, and fruit peel with a medium bitter finish. Extremely flavourful session IPA, IMO.

jenhesteer (234) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2014
Bottle - clear light copper, thick, soapy lace - nose has a simple, semisweet malt base (light caramel, mild sweatbread) that mostly serves as a base to showcase the hops (floral, citric, moderately piney - strong cascade presence) - moderate carbonation - clean and simple - bready malt turns semidry quickly, so the hops take center stage - cascades are pretty prominent, but there is some grass and peppery character, too - sadly, a very strong bark/wood/twig flavor finishes, along with a slight vegetal notes - perhaps this will be resolved in latter batches - a valiant effort that falls apart slightly at the end.

Excellent malt hop for a %5% beer. Fruits ripe and dirty. Rich toasty malt. Well done for a %5% ipa. What the fack? Rich, toasty malty, dry wet and fruity tangy hops.

Keg @ Yard House, Denver. Medium amber, slightly cloudy, white head. Hoppy aroma, apricot, resin, caramel, orange peel. Dry, medium body, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, resiny taste, caramel, apricot, grapefruit peel. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel, very sessionable. (2014-09-30) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Pours a hazy orange with a creamy head. Nice aromas of grapefruit and orange. Aromas continue through the taste with a slightly bitter finish. Good IPA.

Pretty lackluster effort from GD on this one. Faded aroma and flavor in this golden pour. Mild bitter finish leaves you disappointed.

Aroma is citrus/orange, light tropical fruit and fruit. The flavor is citrus/orange, candy/fruit, mild hop resin, malts in the background and a dryish/bitter finish.

Pours a finger and half of foamy head on a hazy straw colored body. The aroma is mild pine and honey; thereís an off-smell too. The taste has a dry pine bitterness throughout, a mild malt sweetness joins in the middle. A little watery in the flavor. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. The smell isnít great and the flavor is okay.
