COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LASSO is the new frontier of India Pale Ale. Brewed with a robust roundup of Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops, its sessionable simplicity proves bigger isnít always better. But make no mistake Ė the Wild West hasnít gone mild. That same untamed IPA spirit thrives, and we reckon thisíll go down mighty fine.

Bland, boring, forgettable, not bad, not good, truly the middle-of-the-road. As "session IPAs" go this is one of the lesser ones Iíve tried, seems like GD isnít giving themselves enough credit with some of their recent new releases. They used to make lots of really exciting stuff.

After thinking about this beer and looking at my other Great Divide ratings, they should stick with dark beers.

Pour at great divide. Clingy lacey head. Orange tan color. Lasso has a great aroma of amarillo? Grapefruit, citrus, and malt. Taste is not expected, less hop forward in flavor.

chinchill (2150) - South Carolina, USA - OCT 20, 2014
From a 12oz bottle Unusual IPA in that the aroma is light and about as malty as it is hoppy, yet the flavor is quite hop dominated. Lingering bitter and hoppy aftertaste.
