Nomad is our spin on the classic Bohemian Pilsner style. The journey starts with German malts and Saaz hops that offer a lively floral nose and crispness, while a full 5 weeks of lagering time ensures that Nomad is eminently balanced. This Nomad may wander, but it’s got some serious roots.

Crisp grain and saaz laden aroma. Yellow lager color, good carbonation. Initial bitter flavor, nice biscuit aftertaste. Body has a cracker like crunch, then a smooth finish. Seems to fit the pattern of US-brewed Bohemians.

This is a pretty well done lager beer. It might be a winter seasonal in bottles but I got it at the brewery in August so I am assuming that is not the case w/ the kegs. It’s clear golden yellow with a fine bubbled head. It has a floral, grassy hop nose. Some slight sweetness seems to bring out some lemon citrus character. This is a medium bodied beer w/ creamy carbonation. This wasn’t a sock off knocking beer but I could drink it all day and might actually do so sometime.

Bottle from World Market. Lightly hazy golden straw in color. Grainy nose with a hint of a fruity brightness. Creamy mouthfeel. Good graininess and a pretty good malty back bone. Decent grassy hoppiness. Pretty tasty.

#33 for July 4th poured a pale golden yellow color with aromas of grain, light malt, hay. Flavors match the aromas a decent pilsner could drink a couple in the heat. Bottle at Panheads in Port Orange.

Light amber, clear, tall and persistent head. Diatinctive floral nose. Light body, moderate flavor, gentle texture, high carbonation, refreshing mouthfeel, long palate, elegant and tasty finish. Bitter, dry particularly in the finish but malty background disguises it well, crisp. Floral, honeyed, hoppy, herby. Great Divide once more didn't disappoint. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Fruity smell, taste is similar but has a little more hops to it, doesn’t taste like a pilsner,

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours hazy golden, nice two finger head, lots of lacing with good retention. Aroma is lemony/herbal and lightly malty. Taste is sweet grains, typical Saaz hop light bitterness. Light bodied, lively carbonation, mouth feel is a little thin. Finishes crisp and dry. Tasting notes of grass, lemon, herbs and bread. I liked this one, great example of the style.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2015 A: Clear dark gold with a tight low white head. Good retention and good lacing around the glass continues as you drink. S: Yeasty bread and a little detectable hop herbs/spiciness. .Very little hop presence. T: Snappy crispness from the malts. A mild earthy hop taste at the end. Not really a bite but fairly pronounced. Herbal/earthy hop taste. Dry. Citrusy. Pretty good but I’d like a middle malt note. Hops overpower slightly. M: Again, dry and crisp. Very refreshing and drinkable. Pretty nice. O: Fairly tasty if lacking in malt flavor but quite drinkable. Maybe not a repurchase but pretty interesting and good.
