A hazed blonde yellow pilsner with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet grassy fruity malt with light mineral qualities. In mouth, a light biscuit musty malt with light Saaz hops, mineral notes, light fruity sweetness, OK at best.

Tap sample.
Clear straw color with a small head.

Clean and crisp malt, with cornflakes, lo-med bitterness and faint medicinal notes.
Light bodied and overall so so.

Crisp grain and saaz laden aroma. Yellow lager color, good carbonation. Initial bitter flavor, nice biscuit aftertaste. Body has a cracker like crunch, then a smooth finish. Seems to fit the pattern of US-brewed Bohemians.

Bottle from xxxxxxxx: Poured a crisp clear golden straw blonde color with a thick fluffy layer of foam as a head. The nose is grassy with a grained like malt profile that is more bolder than any pilsner I can recall off the top of my head, but I’m sure my ratings would suggest other beers I’ve had that could easily rival this American made pilsner style. The flavor is perfectly balanced between sweet dough like malt character while a mild addition of grassy hops forces its way in. I was really surprised with this pilsner and deem this to be a worthy example despite that it was brewed in the U.S., however, the prices from Great Divide are steep and one of the bottles from my 6 pack was only half filled. Made me feel cheated.

Decent pilsner. Flat nose. Tastes like Corn Nuts then pretty crisp hop finish. No complaints, I guess, but if I’m in the mood for a pilsner, I might go for a Mamma’s Little Pils, but would probably just get a Budvar.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Pith (89) - New York, USA - APR 5, 2013
Pours light gold medium carbonation with white head. Aroma is light, berry, fruity hops. Dirty; malt at end- tacky hop start- light bitter fruit. Really lingering berry fruit and bitter then transitions to dirt hops and malt deepness. Sharp, sharp, and dry. Aftertaste is hops.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Doofgoblin (125) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 1, 2013
Overall, it doesn’t have much complexity, but it’s fairly good for a pilsner. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is faintly citrus and crisp. Taste is somewhat sweet with a bitter bite. It also has a bit of carbonation that adds to the bitterness. Finishes pretty good and slightly sweet/smooth.
