On tap @ brewery during the 2006 GABF open house. Aroma is brown sugar, cinnamon, spice, and a hint of oak. Taste is brown sugar, coffee, mild oak, cinnamon. Tastes like a holiday ale. The oak is complimentary, not dominate, a well done oak aged beer.

As if the hibernation ale wasn’t good enough. This has all the good qualities of the regular but with added richness. A very pleasent oaky vanilla flavor.

Fantastic, great winter brew. One of the best ASA’s I’ve had. (On tap at Brick Store Pub in Atlanta.)

On tap @ falling Rock poured a clear dark browen with red highlights and small diminishing amber head. Aromas of oak, carmel, cocoa and a hint of vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of BIG oak, carmel and light vanilla with a lingering oaky finish.
