Commercial Description:
Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Crushed with Jakebra. Definite kick in the ass. Never knew vanilla could be so tasty. This lady’s got the thickness, can I get a witness, this lovely lady’s got the thickness, can I get a hell yeah?

22 oz bottle, cellared 2 years. Dark brown with a spongy tan head. Nose is grape, coffee and chocolate cake. Silky mouthfeel with a slight tingle. Taste is chocolate and vanilla latte with a soft, bitter espresso finish; touches of citrus. Exceptionally balanced. A pleasure to drink. Need more for the cellar.

22 oz bomber purchased from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured into a snifter. Poured a dark black with a three finger head. The aroma was caramel malt, oak and vanilla. The taste was oak, hot chocolate and vanilla, with a good roasty malt background. Coats the palate with a smooth chocolately goodness.

bomber from total wine in greenville, sc poured into a snifter. pours perfectly thick and jet black with a 1/2 inch, dark brown head that quickly fades. aroma is very inviting with roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and hints of oak, with some hops in the background. flavor can be described as almost elegant. coffee and rosted nuts up front, with the smokey, oaked flavors following. dark chocolate and hoppy bitterness come in at the end leaving a very nice aftertaste. amazing palate. perfectly smooth, coats the mouth, and very easy to drink. the alcohol is there, sure enough, but only adds to the quality of the brew. overall, one of the best oaked stouts out there.

Tastes almost exclusively of alcohol, that and oaky syrupy liquor. In my belly.

The Yeti pours very dark with a brown head. A wonderful stout with a very clean taste and a very smooth drink. Wonderful taste of hops and malt make this stout everything that it says it is.

22oz Bomber. Pours a deep dark black with a nice foamy peaky mocha colored head that lasted quite a while. Aromas of Oak, Burnt Roasted malts and wood, and alcohol. Palate and flavor was exceptional and smooth, Lots of chocolate a little oak and some great hopped bitterness! Delicious!

22 oz bomber- poured into wide room temp wide mug. Poured very dark with a head that formed slow but very strong from the bottom of the mug. nice dark brown head that stood strong and tall for a long time. Aroma was very nice. After letting the head settle the head stayed dark at the bottom and showed a lighter dark brown at the top. Very nice lacing as the head didn’t want to let go of the glass. Flavor was amazing. I am new to this rating and tasting but I have certainly found a beer style that I really enjoy. The flavor was a nice mix of bitter (not too bitter) and malt and sweet. Very nice. I will look forward to introducing this beer to friends. I will be sure to visit this brew again soon.
