4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. The pour was a very thick pitch black with an average sized (1-2 finger) chocolate brown creamy head that had really good retention, reducing to a moderate sized foam cap with a large foamy collar thus producing excellent streaky lacing.
The aroma was of a dark roasted malt, a resin hop and a leathery yeast with notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, molasses, vanilla, licorice, a bit of oak and a mild alcohol tinge.
The taste was a tiny bit sweet and very malty with hints of licorice, dark chocolate and molasses from the onset and then proceeded to become a nice bitter hoppy with a big note of coffee and hints of vanilla and oak with a strong alcohol finish. The flavor hung around for a very long time with the coffee flavor taking hold as the taste of alcohol faded.
Mouthfeel was full and a bit chewy in body with a texture that was smooth, creamy and a tad oily, while having a nice strong lively carbonation.
Overall a brew that has everything balanced so well that it just slides down the throat leaving you wanting more...

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2016 Pours oily black color, problably clear, with long, long lasting brown cappucino like creamy head. Aroma: intense roasted, dark malt aroma, with notes of dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, espresso coffee, vanilla, wood, licorice..Flavor: Coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa nibs, vanilla-oak-tannins, hint of licorice, intense hop flavor in the second half, which takes on pine, citruses, especially grapefruit, supported with roasted bitterness, which lingers through finish in aftertaste. Hop bitterness is very high. Very, very smooth, umami mouthfeel, full body, low carbonation.

Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Aromat: Kompletne cudo, najlepszy punkt piwa - czekolada w każdej formie - kakao, praliny, właśnie czekolada, dalej wanilia i nuty beczkowe.

Bottle, 65cl. Opaque dark brown with a frothy/creamy brown head. Deep aromas of roasted malts, dried fruits, wood, alcohol. Full bodied with moderate to fizzy carbonation. Rich and creamy. Medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Fiery roasted and hoppy character into a stinging alcohol finish. Superb.

Bottle at THT thanks to RandomstrangerNL to try and save the pleasure of my 3000th rating. Black with good sized light brown head. Lots of dry cocoa powder, old coffee dregs, light chalk, roasted malts, fudge, soft vanilla. There’s a bit of a strange smell too it of cotton, moldy wood and granite, but when sipping the aroma is nice. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with dry slick feel. Nice beer, though the smell is a bit of a let down.
