COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like its legendary predecessors, this Yeti is big, bold and dark.  The addition of rolled oats softens Yeti’s notoriously roasty backbone and the small amount of raisins added in the brew kettle create a unique dark fruit character.  Just as admired as those that came before it, Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout is a softer beast.

Pours dark black with a finger and change of slowly dissipating tan head. Sweet aroma with raisin notes. Taste is light that builds to a dark fruit sweetness and ends with a burnt toast aftertaste. Very good

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours black, strong light can’t penetrate this brew. Small khaki head, some lacing. Aroma of raisin, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, oatmeal and smoke. Taste is very sweet with bitterness that seems to come from the malts rather than the hops. Full bodied, low carbonation, chewy yet creamy mouth feel. Finishes very complex and long with tasting notes of vanilla, raisin, plums, anise, rolled oats, dark chocolate and smoke. This is an awesome stout!

Raisins, dark fruit, licorice and light coffee in both taste and smell. Heavy bitterness in the aftertaste that fills the mouth forever. Gets better the hotter it gets. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
