On tap, pours dark black, with a thin head with nice lacing. Big bold roast nose with malt and sugars.Taste is big, slightly sweet, lots of roast, with hint of dark sugars. Long bitter finish. Really good stout. Yumm.

7/17/2014. 22 oz. bottle. Black with a beige head. Roasted malt aromas, coffee, chocolate, licorice. Dried fruit flavors with coffee and chocolate. Bitter hops at the end.

Dark brown with small tan head. Aroma chocolate, caramel, roasted coffee. Full body. Really not that much alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel. Rich coffee and mocha flavors, toasted nuts, some dry but not bitter hops in the finish. Nice.

draft, another solid IS in the Yeti series. almost fuller bodied black pour, roasty, chocolate, hint of coffee. very smooth IS, oats mellow it just a tad more than the others. Very drinkable at 9.5

22 oz. bottle with a bottle date of 16 July, 2013. As my cellar slowly starts to dwindle away, I can’t recall where I got some of them. Anyhow... I killed this bomber by myself and I don’t feel guilty about it. Used motor oil with a small tan head. Aroma is charred malt, roasted coffee bean and earthy, premium dark chocolate.
This is the body I look for in an imperial stout! Thick and chewy with the oat flakes adding that beautiful thickness. Flavor has big roast and again that premium chocolate, burned coffee with some light dark fruit hints. Secondary flavor of anise and ash. Smooth, soft carbonation. No alcohol to be found after a year sitting. I believe I have covered the entire Yeti family and if GD decides to brew another variant, I will not complain at all. Top tier like the rest of the yeti series.

Draught at Great Divide. Black color, brown head. Bitter taste with hops, roasted malts, oatmeal, nuts, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Bitter finish with coffee, hops, oatmeal and chocolate. Excellent imperial stout.

10 oz pour at Tyler’s Apex. Good aroma. Sweet roasty. Chocolate, coffee, the dairy thing I get from oats. Dark orangy brown color. Good initial head faded quickly. Little to no lace. Sweet bitter flavor. Thick body creamy viscous oily mouthfeel. Sweet bitter finish. Good as always with the yeti. Oat gives a extra chewiness. Flavor best part for me. But it’s all good.

Pours thick black with foamy mocha head and a bit of lacing. Strong roasted malt presence with dark fruit and Carmel on the nose. Palate is dark roast coffee with sweet grain, dried grape and warm boozy finish. An amazing stout!

Bomber. Clear dark reddish brown with a big foamy, chocolate brown head at first that becomes a small brown head on the sides; laces well. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, oats, dark fruit, and coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, oats, raisins and light vanilla notes on the end. Full bodied, smooth, lingering roasted malt and raisin. Sweet front with a bitter, roasty finish.
