COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like its legendary predecessors, this Yeti is big, bold and dark.  The addition of rolled oats softens Yeti’s notoriously roasty backbone and the small amount of raisins added in the brew kettle create a unique dark fruit character.  Just as admired as those that came before it, Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout is a softer beast.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av mörk choklad, kaffe, rostade toner, torkad frukt med tonvikt på russin med toner av karamell och vanilj. Rund och len, lagom sötma, otroligt fina smaker, välbalanserad. Riktigt gott.

Aroma is very thick and rich, and I was alerted by the deep dark fruit aroma that invaded my nostrils. The taste does truly take you for a ride, deep and dark fruity with a quite heavy roast. But, the oatmeal takes off the efges on this one, and together with the raisins in it, it adds an mature sweetness that really opens the door to another room of taste experiences. Actually now, when I think about it, this one could be the best of the Yeti variants that I’ve tasted.

Bottled 07/09/14. Pours pitch black with a tan frothy creamy head. Aroma is lots of rich dark chocolate up front and then coffee in the back. Flavor is dark chocolate and lots of coffee bitterness. Distinct oatmeal creaminess makes the Palate awesome. Really nice.

1,000th RATE!!!! The Yeti’s are just so damn good in all their versions Plus I have always liked the smoothness oats add. Did end up rating this lower than the other yetis but probably due to another discovery - these are better aged and I drank this one at 6 mos. very roasted aroma - overpowered all else. Perfect black pour and palate that is the yeti style.. Taste was mostly roast with some dark fruits. Maybe slight chocolate? I bet more flavors emerge with aging. Will be buying all yeti versions for some aging.
