COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Don’t let ORABELLE’s nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, she’s a charmer- one sip and you’ll be in love.

Bottle. Pours cloudy bright hay. Aroma is slightly fruit, a little funky and a lot of sweet. Taste is a pleasant balance of sweet, tart, light cereal, a bit of citrus....dangerously drinkable. More like a hefeweizen than a big belgian.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 3/13/13

Aroma: The nose is spicy, with plenty of Belgian yeast, lemon/orange peel, other fruit, and some wheat
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden-orange color with a small white head and light lace
Flavor: The taste is heavy on the Belgian yeast with lots of spice and some fruity sweetness too
Palate: The body of this one is light-medium, it has a tingly feel, mild stickiness, and a spicy finish
Overall Impression: For me, this one is pretty solid. It is certainly a spice forward beer but there’s plenty of fruity sweetness as well. I don’t have any major qualms with it, but it isn’t exceptional either. A very solid beer.

maekchu (2575) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 7, 2013
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits in Athens. Estery, light peach, sour pineapple aromas. Hazy light straw color, littl head. Nice fruit initial, with some orange peel / mid goes a bit too sugary, some cereal, some coriander / smooth cookeish, floury final, with residual bitterness. Medium body. A deeply flavored blonde tripel.

What? Just another wanna be belgie tripple. Not in love. Some weird barely detectable tart stuff inthere. Does hide alky well for a 8 plusser. I think I’m getting a little dizzy towards the end of the bottle.strong and follhearty. Codswollop!
