3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Cornelius. Hazy pale golden body with a medium white head. Very lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of salted lemon, vine tomatoes and apricot. Flavour of tangy orange, yeast and white bread. Medium body with a smooth, frothy texture. Light fizz. Tastes like a less zingy version of Great Divide’s Colette.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy yellow with low white head. Aroma of spices, herbs, wheat, honey, funk. Taste is sweet, mild honey and wheat, maybe a bit one-dimensional. Light to medium bodied and smooth with soft carbonation. Slightly boozy finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Brewdog mail order. Pours hazy orange, tight white head. Aroma of yeast, more yeast, oranges. Nice mouthfeel. A decent ale but for the abv I was expecting more of a hit and complexity. Not really a proper full strength low countries ale. Pity, it has promise but doesn’t hit the high spots.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Brewdog Online Shop, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy yellow with a thin, lingering white head. Aromas are bready, some orange peel, light spice, faint cooked banana. Taste is more of the same. Lacking something to take it to that next level, but pretty good.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - cloudy golden orange with a decent fluffy head. Some of the head hangs around.
Nose - dried orange peel, loads of estery notes.
Taste - rich candied orange and lemon with some spice. There’s a bread base.
Palate - medium bodied with with a tangy texture and a long and fairly dry tangy finish. I’d like it slightly more tangy on the finish though.
Overall - pretty good tripel, but would like a tangier finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the Barrel Bar. It’s a cloudy gold and possesses a huge coriander and orange peel aroma. Fairly full bodied and rich with a sweet finish. Nice classic style Belgian beer, an easy drinking Tripel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz can. Pours a hazy bright golden color with a small white head. Orange peel aroma with some spices. Flavor is characterized by wheat notes with strong orange peel present with some coriander. Medium bodied with a spicy finish. This feels sort of like an imperial Belgian wit. Really well done.
