Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Donít let ORABELLEís nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, sheís a charmer- one sip and youíll be in love.

For me Tripel and pizza is one of those canít-miss combos, which is why I find myself returning to it so often. Last nightís pairing was a delicious slice of spicy, bready, and citrusy plus a glass of spicy, bready, and citrusy courtesy of Yia Yiaís. Orabelle has a golden pour. Its yeast esters have fruity, spicy aromas. Bread and mildly tart citrus flavors. The spice note is fairly complex with a big nod toward coriander and subtler touches of clove and ginger. Feel is bright, smooth, and semi-dry at the finish. Overall, a lovely Tripel and an excellent addition to a meal.

Quite good and great refreshing taste. Very spiced in Balgian standards and enjoyable at all moments.

Poured from the bottle into a short tulip glass to drink. The beer had a hazy and cloudy lighter lemon-orange color with a very large foamy white head with good retention, and excellent lacing and cling. Its aroma featured coriander and orange, along with lemon and wheat notes, and a bit of yeast. The taste had a sweet-bitter blend with a strong citrus and lemon flavor, along with a sour grainy and grassy effect that quickly settled in. The beer had high carbonation and a lively mouthfeel, while being on the dry side with a thick effect.

Cloudy yellow with thin head. Thin for a trippel. Lots of lemon sherbet, esters subdued. Prickly carbonation. Hides ABV in the sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle - pours a cloudy light golden yellow with a thin white head. Nice aroma of wheat, mandarin, clove, lemon and a hint of banana. It drinks more like a Belgian white than a trippel. Decent beer but I think it needs more malt structure.

Can. Floral aroma. Orange with coriander flavor. Not sure if heat or bitter at end but bit odd for supposed type

Pours a cloudy golden with decent carbonation. Hardly any aroma but slight Orange is noted. As noted in the diScription, this will be one your favorites.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2016 Not quite like the true Belgian tripels, but a pretty good representation of the style. Has a hazy medium pale yellow appearance. Earthy and grassy flavors, banana, coriander, wheat, and yeast. Almost like an imperial Hef. Actually getting some heat towards the end. Iíd call this a "poor manís" tripel, but certainly would sample again.

Poured into a snifter. 2.75 A: Murky dark yellow color. About one finger of fizzy off-white head that falls quickly and leaves no lacing. 4.5 S: This is incredibly orangy. Orange, orange peel, orange, then coriander, hay, lemon meringue. Peppery yeast spiciness. Itís got so much orange about it that itís hard to perceive much of anything else. In any case, it smells great. 4.5 T: It tastes much like it smells. Orange dominates, followed by orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, and hay. Yeast offers more pepper. This has some powerful flavors and is in stark contrast to the old world tripels, but it just tastes so damn good. 4.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Spritzy and tongue tingling. 4.5 D: Really tasty beer. Itís nothing like the standard tripel, but it tastes so good that itís tough to bother with that. ★ 859 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 26, 2015 Edit

Can pour from Wallyís. Aroma is Belgian fruity esters, banana, bubblegum, with some tart. Appearance is cloudy yellow with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and nice, leggy lacing. Taste is as aroma with moderately sweet fruity esters with late tart but also with overarching light orange and spice. Donít taste the alcohol. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and average to lively carbonation and lasting sweet/tart finish. Overall, a nice beer with some nice subtle complexity. Not getting the hop contributions typical for the style, but not really missing them either.
