Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Don’t let ORABELLE’s nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, she’s a charmer- one sip and you’ll be in love.

Bottle. Clear yellow beer with a very light white head. Good yeasty aroma, lighter body, lots of carbonation. Solid beer

12 oz bottle. Pours bright hazy orange. Nose is citrus, orange, slight skunk. Taste is a bit sweet, very orangey, a bit tangy and yeasty. Syrupy viscous body. Not the best I’ve had and glad it’s only 12 oz.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy gold color, with a thin, off-white head. Mandarin oranges up front, cane sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper. Sticky sweetness, with a slightly sour undertone, with some musty notes. Medium body, with a hard feel and a little sticky and acidic feel. Overall, this is a sweet and tasty beer, but lacks complexity and depth.

Bottled January 2...which means this meaty orange-lemon grass funk is all original. Based on the aroma alone, saison is probably the proper style. Taste is more like a wheat beer: sweet, tangy and spicy. You would never guess the relative strength of this beer. Very smooth, easy drinker. In another successful excursion into Belgium via Denver.

I continue to really enjoy Great Divide’s foray into Belgian styles. Orabelle is a spicy number with black pepper, leaves, and coriander against a bright citrus aroma. Flavors are robust and earthy -- not juicy. Dry finish, plenty of malt backing from the rye, and stand-alone notes of orange zest, centennial (?) hops and cut grass.

Drought. Hazy rich yellow with white creamy head, honey aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet taste with honey flavor, longish finish with a bit of bitterness at the end. Nicely concealed alcohol content, enjoyable brew.

12 oz bottle, bottled on 12/31/12. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet and tart fruit with corriander and a bit of funk.

The flavor is bready malts with some fruit and corriander and a bit of a funky bitter finish. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a solid beer. Kind of a cross between a tripel and a wit. Easy drinking but with a bang.

Hazy gold pour, small white head. Wheat, citrus, pineapple, banana, yeast, pepper, spice in aroma, flavor of caramel, orange, wheat and light hoppiness.

Hazy, yellow pour with a bright white head. The aroma has orange rind and some light, peppery spice. It has a light body with sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with just a hint of alcohol.
