COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Donít let ORABELLEís nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, sheís a charmer- one sip and youíll be in love.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013 Nice yeasty aroma as expected, mouth feel is only big thing missing. Its a nice brew nice head, nice appearance. I must say I prefer this over Hades, better balance and flavor.

Bottle. Pours cloudy bright hay. Aroma is slightly fruit, a little funky and a lot of sweet. Taste is a pleasant balance of sweet, tart, light cereal, a bit of citrus....dangerously drinkable. More like a hefeweizen than a big belgian.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Hazy golden brew with dens white head, bits of crude floating around in it. Aroma of green banana, corriander, a llittle spice. Taste is sweet malt at the start, fruity esters, green bananas, very sweet from start to finish. Satisfying palate but sticky sweet at the end. A little spice in the finish and later in the swallow....

Respectable tripel - wheaty taste that almost pushes into the German style category.

Hazy straw pour with a decent white head. Very strong yeasty banana, orange, coriander aroma. Taste is banana and spice up front with orange coming through in the finish. Medium body. Like a wit on steroids.

The color is a cloudy yellow color with a large white head, and the aroma is sweet in the nose due to the Belgian yeast and a sweet fruitiness. The taste fuses a slight sourness and a mild sweetness that is enticing, and the palate has an interesting blend of a thick texture, subtle yet long finish, average carbonation, and a medium body, which ties everything together nicely.

Pours a cloudy straw golden with a thick, fluffy off-white head that settles slowly to a thick ring and leaves heaps of lace. Nose involves some sharp lemony citrus, definitive briny coriander spice, pastry dough, a touch of pine forest, some rustic bread, a bit of mimosa. Pretty sweet, fairly tart, slightly bitter. Toward full bodied, creamy, soft, with a lengthy tart and spicy finish. Iím a little torn with this. I like parts of it (appearance, body, citrus aspects of aroma), and Iím not a fan of other parts (competing flavors, f-ing coriander). I think this would make both a good mimosa and a good chelada. Is that fucked up? I put coriander and lemon (or lime) juice in my bloody marys, and this beer makes me want to put hot sauce in it for some reason. I think itís incredibly drinkable at its size, and the complexity is fair though I wish it was more yeast driven and less added spice driven.

Bottle served in a tulip. Pours hazy light orange with a short white head. Minimal retention and spotty lacing. Bright orange peel, light yeast spiciness and a clean yet complex grainy malt aroma. Really nice. Medium sweet attack then the yeast and orange zest. Medium body, creamy-oily textutre, average carbonation, and a sticky wheat, light oily finish.

draft at tap room. Pours yellow with white head. Aroma is a bit spicy, clove. Medium bodied. Flavor has notes of wheat, belgian yeast, and spice, but lacks the fruitiness and complexity of a good tripel. I love great divideís american beer styles but like the collete "saison", this tripel leaves a lot to be wanted.

The aroma is a little faint with some spice coming through. The pour is a cloudy gold with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. The flavor is slightly subtle as well for a triple. Itís very smooth and easy drinking at 8.3% but there just isnít that awesome explosion in taste. Itís a solid beer but just not one of the better triples that Iíve had.
