Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Donít let ORABELLEís nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, sheís a charmer- one sip and youíll be in love.

12 oz. bottle- Pours a nice hazy straw yellow with a head that reduces immediately leaving a ring. Aroma is nice and estery, yeasty, floral and spices. The taste is smooth, creamy, banana, yeast, floral, coriander and orange. Nice beer, a mellow and flavorful tripel.

12oz bottle poured into a Tulip at 40į. Color is a hazy golden yellow with mellow carbonation and a soft white head. Aroma is coriander, orange and Belgian yeast. It has a medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor has a nice sour note as the citrus and spice meld with the yeast giving it an almost White taste. In the after taste the coriander and spice hang on with a mild bitterness. Overall this is a great brew, I think it leans more to the characteristics of a White and the 8.3% abv is very nice.

Floral, citrus fruity, bready, and honeyed aromas. Hazy yellow-orange, mostly fading white head. Dry, fragrant, floral hops and bitter citrus, savory. Medium bodied, well carbonated, pretty refreshing, a slight bit dusty.

Poured into a snifter. 2.75 A: Murky dark yellow color. About one finger of fizzy off-white head that falls quickly and leaves no lacing. 4.5 S: This is incredibly orangy. Orange, orange peel, orange, then coriander, hay, lemon meringue. Peppery yeast spiciness. Itís got so much orange about it that itís hard to perceive much of anything else. In any case, it smells great. 4.5 T: It tastes much like it smells. Orange dominates, followed by orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, and hay. Yeast offers more pepper. This has some powerful flavors and is in stark contrast to the old world tripels, but it just tastes so damn good. 4.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Spritzy and tongue tingling. 4.5 D: Really tasty beer. Itís nothing like the standard tripel, but it tastes so good that itís tough to bother with that. ★ 859 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 26, 2015 Edit

Great all-around beer here. Even had to share a couple of bottles with my wife. Pours a nice golden color with straw notes and a light head. Straw, orange, spice, yeast flavors throughout. Medium to long finish with a bit of bubble. Highly enjoyable.

A little hoppy for a tripel, which I think worked. Aromas and flavors of wheat, spice and a bit sweet. Golden color with no head. Medium weight but pretty smooth and full.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy gold color, with a thin, off-white head. Mandarin oranges up front, cane sugar, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper. Sticky sweetness, with a slightly sour undertone, with some musty notes. Medium body, with a hard feel and a little sticky and acidic feel. Overall, this is a sweet and tasty beer, but lacks complexity and depth.

Bottled Jan. 2, 2013. This pours a bright golden-orange color that can just barely muster a pencil thin head on top. Yeasty aroma with a strong wet basement smell; some straw, clove, and citrus. Itís sweet initially before some spice kicks in, leading to a semi-dry finish. The flavors are citrusy and floral with some orange blossom sticky notes and a touch of herbal character. There does seem to be too much sugar here but at least the body isnít super thick and syrupy allowing it to still be somewhat refreshing. It would probably be better if it were a tick or two lower in alcohol but this was a pretty solid brew.

Draft at Proof. Deep hazy gold pour with a bubbly white head. Very fruity bubblegum aroma, light tangerines, hint of sourness, Belgian candy sugar and some sweet pale grains. Flavor similar but falls flat, weak carbonation and medium bodied. Was expecting a decent beer considering the nose, lacks the zesty richness.

Bottled December 13, 2012.
Appearance: The body is murky pale straw through the edges and orange through the center. The head is thin, but dense, it reminds me of fluffernutter.
Aroma: The aroma is a well balanced medley of oranges, banana, and spice of rye and cloves with light vanilla, a slight hint of alcohol is noted upon swirling.
Taste: The intro is orange packed, with an orange juice vibe to it slightly outshining the malts. The mid-taste adds light banana, spicy rye and pepper notes with a touch of vanilla as orange juice cuts through, but is somewhat balanced while the finish adds mild cloves and lingers of orange juice.
Palate: Medium to thick bodied, full texture, soft carbonation.
Overall: This would be a better beer if they used less orange peel. I feel like they blended orange juice with this, it throws the balance off.
