COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Don’t let ORABELLE’s nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, she’s a charmer- one sip and you’ll be in love.

Drought. Hazy rich yellow with white creamy head, honey aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet taste with honey flavor, longish finish with a bit of bitterness at the end. Nicely concealed alcohol content, enjoyable brew.

Hazy straw pour with a thin head. Aroma is orange peel, lemon, coriander, sage, some pilsner-like maltiness. Flavour is pow, big coriander spice, lemon and orange zest, biscuity malt. A little too aggressively spiced for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head. This one hit the spot with a cheese and veggie plate. Very refreshing with notes of pepper, coriander and citrus. Very well balanced, not too sweet. Good example of the style.

Aroma of nice floral, citrus, and noticable yeast. Pours orange hazy with very small head. Taste is nice at first. Nice floral, capers, and apricot. Finishes a bit dry and bland.

Floral, citrus fruity, bready, and honeyed aromas. Hazy yellow-orange, mostly fading white head. Dry, fragrant, floral hops and bitter citrus, savory. Medium bodied, well carbonated, pretty refreshing, a slight bit dusty.

12oz bottle poured into a Tulip at 40°. Color is a hazy golden yellow with mellow carbonation and a soft white head. Aroma is coriander, orange and Belgian yeast. It has a medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor has a nice sour note as the citrus and spice meld with the yeast giving it an almost White taste. In the after taste the coriander and spice hang on with a mild bitterness. Overall this is a great brew, I think it leans more to the characteristics of a White and the 8.3% abv is very nice.

Poured into a snifter. 2.75 A: Murky dark yellow color. About one finger of fizzy off-white head that falls quickly and leaves no lacing. 4.5 S: This is incredibly orangy. Orange, orange peel, orange, then coriander, hay, lemon meringue. Peppery yeast spiciness. It’s got so much orange about it that it’s hard to perceive much of anything else. In any case, it smells great. 4.5 T: It tastes much like it smells. Orange dominates, followed by orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, and hay. Yeast offers more pepper. This has some powerful flavors and is in stark contrast to the old world tripels, but it just tastes so damn good. 4.25 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Spritzy and tongue tingling. 4.5 D: Really tasty beer. It’s nothing like the standard tripel, but it tastes so good that it’s tough to bother with that. ★ 859 characters DavoleBomb, Sep 26, 2015 Edit

A little hoppy for a tripel, which I think worked. Aromas and flavors of wheat, spice and a bit sweet. Golden color with no head. Medium weight but pretty smooth and full.

Great all-around beer here. Even had to share a couple of bottles with my wife. Pours a nice golden color with straw notes and a light head. Straw, orange, spice, yeast flavors throughout. Medium to long finish with a bit of bubble. Highly enjoyable.
