COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Don’t let ORABELLE’s nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, she’s a charmer- one sip and you’ll be in love.

12oz can. Pours a hazy bright golden color with a small white head. Orange peel aroma with some spices. Flavor is characterized by wheat notes with strong orange peel present with some coriander. Medium bodied with a spicy finish. This feels sort of like an imperial Belgian wit. Really well done.

355ml can from Brewdog.com. Pours a murky deep yellow, good white head. Aroma is spicy sweet citrus. Taste is confidently spicy with the creamy body of a triple. Very good.

Cloudy appearance. Golden color. Thick, frothy white head that presents cobweb lacing. Reminds me somewhat of a pale lager aroma. Some orange. Some grainy aromas. Very light for such a high alcohol beer. Leaves a slight creaminess on the palate. Little bit of vanilla. Low carbonation. Finish is light and abrupt. Wheat seems to dominate the taste. This is a easy drinking beer. Be careful as it will bite later.

Served from a bottle at Washington House Great Divide beer tasting. Pours a pale yellow. Cloudy with minimal head. Initial flavor is peach with a notable sour overtone. Very nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold with a thin foamy white head. Estery nose with pale grains and peppercorn with a bready yeasty sweetness. Taste is also not as dry as I had hoped, but it has that quintessential Great Divide balance. Flavor is peppery and yeasty with a pale grain background, kinda slightly fruity. Lots of coriander too.

12oz bottle poured into a Tulip at 40°. Color is a hazy golden yellow with mellow carbonation and a soft white head. Aroma is coriander, orange and Belgian yeast. It has a medium body with a creamy mouth feel. Flavor has a nice sour note as the citrus and spice meld with the yeast giving it an almost White taste. In the after taste the coriander and spice hang on with a mild bitterness. Overall this is a great brew, I think it leans more to the characteristics of a White and the 8.3% abv is very nice.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours dishwater gold with a transient white head. Aroma has mixed fruit esters. Full bodied. Flavor has pineapple, and maybe banana, ester. Some citrus. It’s just a little earthy. Mildly spicy. It tastes very, very nice.

Bottle. Nose heavy on orange peel with some coriander, there’s bright citric malt and classic peppery and floral Belgian tripel yeast. Hazy bright yellow sun body with a clingy bright white head. Taste is lightly bitter, slightly more sweet, a little too heavy on the coriander with beautiful slow-build warmth in the back of the throat after the lemon and heavy orange peel have started to pass. Yeast character is nice here, really clean but with pleasant pepper and floral notes. Full body, alcohol seems more like 6.5-7% than 8.3% bv, and I can see myself buying this often in the future; something of a straightened, Americanized tripel (and that doesn’t mean heavy hopping), but a delicious one!

Poured from the bottle in a pint glass. This is just what you hope for out of a tripel. Aroma is sweet citrus and the appearance is that of an unfiltered wheat beer; light color and very opaque. Slightly boozy finish, but considering its 8.3% alcohol content it?s actually pretty faint. Great beer.

Apricot and coriander nose. Cloudy golden, thin head. Full body. Lemon and coriander flavor. Fruity esters fade revealing a nice light maltiness. Alcohol well concealed. Dangerously good.
