Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Donít let ORABELLEís nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, sheís a charmer- one sip and youíll be in love.

Pours a cloudy straw golden with a thick, fluffy off-white head that settles slowly to a thick ring and leaves heaps of lace. Nose involves some sharp lemony citrus, definitive briny coriander spice, pastry dough, a touch of pine forest, some rustic bread, a bit of mimosa. Pretty sweet, fairly tart, slightly bitter. Toward full bodied, creamy, soft, with a lengthy tart and spicy finish. Iím a little torn with this. I like parts of it (appearance, body, citrus aspects of aroma), and Iím not a fan of other parts (competing flavors, f-ing coriander). I think this would make both a good mimosa and a good chelada. Is that fucked up? I put coriander and lemon (or lime) juice in my bloody marys, and this beer makes me want to put hot sauce in it for some reason. I think itís incredibly drinkable at its size, and the complexity is fair though I wish it was more yeast driven and less added spice driven.

Pours a very miry golden color with a thin white head. Almost a creamy taste for a triple. Very refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Aroma is lemon, coriander, orange and yeast. Taste follows suit but with a prominent tangerine note. Slight boozy sting. Medium juicy mouthfeel and strong carb. I had low expectations for this but it's actually pretty awesome.

Poured from cellar into tulip glass (54F). Pours a hazy light gold color with white head. Aromas of citrus, wheat, and a touch of rye. Tastes follow the aromas, very effervescent carbonation, light and crisp, refreshing, and nice.

Pours hazy straw yellow with a white head. The aroma has sweet maltiness, candy sugar, cloves, coriander, light banana and that tripel style yeast. Really comes off nicely for a six pack beer. Medium / full body with carbonation thatís a bit more assertive than most tripels. The taste starts with more dryness and spice than the aroma, hints of stone fruit, velvety smooth lush malt that comes with some tripels, coriander, pepper and some earthy / spicy hops. The finish sweetens up a bit and adds some earthy hops. Far better than I expected for a tripel in a six pack.

I continue to really enjoy Great Divideís foray into Belgian styles. Orabelle is a spicy number with black pepper, leaves, and coriander against a bright citrus aroma. Flavors are robust and earthy -- not juicy. Dry finish, plenty of malt backing from the rye, and stand-alone notes of orange zest, centennial (?) hops and cut grass.

Cloudy yellow, light tan head. Banana, apricot, very fruity. Some bitterness upfront, opens into a nice diversity of malt flavors. Lighter body than the average alcohol isn't terribly present. Very drinkable. Really well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice American version of the best style! The Belgian tripple flavors are a little light but have a nice orange citrus accent.

Floral, citrus fruity, bready, and honeyed aromas. Hazy yellow-orange, mostly fading white head. Dry, fragrant, floral hops and bitter citrus, savory. Medium bodied, well carbonated, pretty refreshing, a slight bit dusty.

Sample at Daily Growler. Hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of bananas, caramel malt and yeast. The finish is sweet with a fruity yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
