3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
1/31/2014: Great Divide Orabelle... Trademark Beligan Tripel spiked with too much coriander; far too sweet for my preference; strong, but the alcohol isn’t completely obvious. Draught sample at Whole Foods in Mason, Ohio. Rating #175 for this beer.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty nice, balanced, still strong. Alcohol with a distinctive Belgian yeast flavor. Mild, sweet, not too malty. It has the sugar without the body.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Orange and belgian yeast scent, smell the coriander for sure. Slighlty malty. Full of complexity. Honey and coriander, orange peel.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow and makes a thin head that dissipates quickly and makes a small lacing print. Aroma is of coriander and citrus (both orange and lemon notes). Tastes of malted barley and orange. This is a unique Belgian Tripel. I like the interpretation.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy straw yellow pour into Chimay tulip. Oranges, lemons and coriander in the nose. Flavor is very zesty with oranges, lemon rind, and spices. A biscuity and bread finish. This does resemble a Wit more than a Tripel in my opinion. It’s OK. A wee bit heavy on the orange as it dominates the taste. Would make for a good hot Summer day ale.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very refreshing orange and coriander aroma. Initial taste is full of orange flavor but well balanced finish of oats and rye. Very complex but easy drinking Tripel

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle---pours a soft, slight hazy golden color with a small head that didn’t last through the pour. Aroma of spice and banana. I pick up some yeast and slight lemon in the taste. Thin finish. The alcohol was not notice in the drink. Total Wine.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Must note my bottle was 11 months old, however, this beer poured a hazy golden color with a VERY minimal head that dissipated in seconds. The aroma is very citrusy. You definitely pick up the coriander and orange peel. I did not get much of the rye on the aroma but i pick it up slightly in the taste. The taste is very citrusty up front-in fact too much in my opinion. The beer does finish some what with a peppery taste to it. One thing i really notice is that the 8.3% ABV is very well hidden.
