beerbill (1917), Laurel, New York, USA Dec 9, 2006 12 oz. bottle courtesy of Secret Santa. Pours a nearly clear deep amber with a moderate yellow/white head and losts of carbonation. Pleasant malt aroma. The flavor is mostly caramel and malt, but not a heavy malt taste. Some very light fruitiness from the hops remains well in the background. Quite smooth. Good stuff. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Dec 8, 2006 35,5 cl bottle. Yeast at the bottom. Nut brown colour with a nice but weak head. Nutty aroma with notes malt, caramel and little sweet. Light and mild flavour of caramel and little toffee, have a very high carbonation. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 21, 2006 Bottle: Clear amber color with a large frothy off-white head and lots of bubbles rising to the top. A distinct hop aroma full of junipers followed by a pretty well balanced hop-malt structure (although it seems the hops dominate). The body is average and it is an overall good brew. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Nov 15, 2006 Bottle. Pours a nice rich amber color with a good white head. Nice malt aroma. This is a very flavorful amber ale, one of the better ones I have tried. Well worth another try. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Nov 12, 2006 Bottle poured a clear dark amber with a large lasting off white head. Aromas of sweet malt, carmel and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light tomedium bodied and silky. Flavors of carmel, light nuttiness and a hint of vanilla with a crisp lightly sweet finish.
