Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Comes as "Great Divide Ridge Line Amber". Very, very pretty deep copper-coloured with a small, dense head. Very aromatic, hoppy nose but only a moderate hoppiness throughout the beer. Lovely nutty aroma with a full, chewy body. A nice beer, sip by sip... 280505 robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA May 22, 2005 Brown Coloring with White Skin. Grains/Cereal Aroma. Sweet Barnyard Flavor with Grainy Aftertaste. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark May 19, 2005 Pours clear amber colored and a fine though disappearing off-white head. Mild hop and malt aroma with notes of toffee. Rather bitter hoppy flavor with malt notes and spices. Medium bodied and a bitter watery end. Nice and easy. Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 15, 2005 A hazy amber beer with a huge disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of oranges leading to a dry bitter end. An OK beer. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA May 14, 2005 A highly drinkable beer - quality in the brewing is evident (at least, to me). Nice color and flavor - I’ll definitely buy this again. hopscotch (5437), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 13, 2005 Bottle... Overcarbonated. Cloudy orange ale with a large, reverse cascading, off-white head. Terrific retention. Very root beer float-like head. Nutty, fruity aroma delivers notes of fruitcake and unscented soap. The perfectly balanced flavor is just a wee bit malty, nutty and vineous. Light-bodied and fizzy. Lengthy, very dry finish. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA May 10, 2005 pours out dark amber in color. nutty and malty, this one went pretty well with seafood. sort of hoppy as it goes down. not a bad scottish ale??, not the best, but certainly drinkable. i actually had no idea this was even considered a scottish ale - seems to be more of just an amber or pale ale. whatever though. badgerben (3584), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Apr 30, 2005 Pours an amber color with no head. Dry hop aroma. Vegetable taste with a spicy finish. Scottish ale... not bloody likely. More like a defective Pale Ale.
