Flavor is caramel and nuts. Very plain regular amber. If you don’t like the amber ales, not something you will kick yourself for missing. Not my favorite style, but a very enjoyable Amber Ale. Taste is semii sweet of malt balanced with a nice hop splash. Medium body with a slightly dry bitter finish. blklab2007 (932), Connecticut, USA Jan 29, 2008 bottle poured an amber in color with over the top carbination on the pour producing a white three finger head that overflowed the glass a bit. in the head were a few floaters resembling ground nutmeg. aroma has caramel malt, touch of dark fruit, and a little nuts. mouth feel is medium light again with heavy carbination felt on the tongue. flavor is malted for the most part but not bitter, has some light hops, and finishes with malt and some dry nuttiness. good drinking beer with more yeasty spice as it warms Headbanger (1574), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jan 10, 2008 Updated: Jan 28, 200812oz bottle(I had it as Arapahoe Amber)-An amber body with a small off white head and an aroma of a little malt. Taste of the same. Not a bad brew but was expecting more.
