Commercial Description:
A malty, copper-hued treat from start to finish, Ridgeline begins with a distinctive, estery aroma. Followed with a complex, nutty malt flavor true to its Scottish-style heritage, Ridgeline delivers unparalleled character and dimension. A touch of hops rounds out its silky, full body, highlighting Ridgeline’s subtle but engrossing character.

Bottle. Copper color with a medium white head. Aroma is decent, but nothing special. Flavor was sweet, with a touch of caramel and citrus. Slight floral tones to it. A solid refreshing brew.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy redish amber with a nice dense off-white head. Malty vanilla and caramel aroma. Flavor is woody earthy and lightly toasted malts. Very little hop bitterness and a slight tanned leather note. Quite lievely carbonation, and a moderate light palatte. No real bitterness on the trailer. Not bad for a style that I am not usually too excited about.

A copper color with a moderate white head. The aroma is somewhat floral with some caramel and citrus fruit. present. The flavor is slightly bitter with some grass, grapefruit, caramel and a bit of a nutty presence. The finish is somewhat bitter with a carbonated mouthfeel. Overall for an amber ale this is pretty good!

Poured a rich copper color with a good head. Smooth amber with the traditional thickness of a great divide brew. Very good.

Bottle Copper pour with massive beautiful head and decent lacing. Malty aroma with a bit of hop. Flavor follows accordingly. Not too bad, nothing excellent.

Slightly spoiled smell...might have been infected. Light copper color with a good head. Odd as it seems, it tasted exactly like vanilla ice cream...with a hop or two on top for garish. Weak body...needs more meat for a Scottish Ale, if in fact that is what they were shooting for.

Bottle - from sampler pack. Amber color - cloudy. Not much flavor. Way overcarbonated. Worst one in the sampler pack.

Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Nose is cookie, caramel, citrus hops. Malty flavor well balanced with a mild hops presence. Mildly bitter, oily finish.
