Commercial Description:
A malty, copper-hued treat from start to finish, Ridgeline begins with a distinctive, estery aroma. Followed with a complex, nutty malt flavor true to its Scottish-style heritage, Ridgeline delivers unparalleled character and dimension. A touch of hops rounds out its silky, full body, highlighting Ridgeline’s subtle but engrossing character.

Not the most incredible looking beer, but decent enough. Pours amber brown with a white head that is retained. Aroma is nice, if a bit subdued. Mainly malty, little bit of nuttiness. Flavor is strongly nutty tasting very much like fresh roasted peanuts. Not incredible, but easy to drink.

Slightly hazy orange-amber colour. Earthy, slightly caramelly, crackerlike aroma. Earthy, slightly toasty, slightly caramelly flavour. Medium body. Good balance. A straightforward amber - and thus devoid of any particular attractions - but decently made.

Great Divide has some distribution power - you can find this stuff all over Michigan. The amber actually claims to be a scottish ale and it does have substantial maltiness, leading toward the sweet side of good for my palate.

Beautiful copper color; huge head. Aroma of malt and some hop. In the flavor, some malt (dry), caramel (soft) and correct bitterness. Average.

Medium gold with a rocky white head. Malts are sweet and slightly nutty. Subtle spicy hop character with a fruity background. Finish is clean and smooth with a bittersweet aftertaste.

Slightly hazy amber color witha medium frothy head. Bread yeast, Butter and pineapple aroma. Sour paper flavors. Hidden flavors of toffee and caramel. Finishes dry and slightly tart. Interesting, but not exciting.

[Bottled at Old Eskil Ölkultur, Eskilstuna] Brownish amber, small creamy head. Toffeeish nose. Sweetish and caramelly with clean, rounded mouthfeel and notes of milk chocolate. Low bitterness. A pretty solid little beer, well worth drinking on its own.

Deep orange color with only a thin head around the rim of the glass. Nice lacing. Clean and refreshing taste. Pretty good beer.
