Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy-handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus.

Nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. Pretty good Colorado beer especially if you like IPAs.

Golden pour with thin head. Aroma is citrus hops and biscuits. Taste is malty with nice citrus hops presence followed by a nice oak balance. Great brew.

Draught pours amber with a white head. Aromas are herbal, spruce, and citrus. Taste is much the same. Bitter with some malt, but mostly bitter. Not sure what hops they used here, but they are not the citrus flavors. Overall, decent, but I prefer my IPAs to have more citrus flavors.

A really nice offering from Great Divide, this one pours a dark, orange tinged amber with a light tan head. Nose is nicely hoppy and warm. Flavors are rich and strong, with a nice hops character that lingers for quite some time on the palate. Really a very good beer.

A very good, well balanced IPA. Great malt flavors and not overly hoppy. Very full bodied. A nice change of pace from other overhopped IPAs.

Pours slightly orange from draft with a thin white head. Some notes of pine on the nose. Some hop flavor on the tongue. It’s a fairly drinkable IPA for non hopheads. Finishes clean. Not bad.

I poured a 12 oz bottle into a snifter. The body proved darker than a typical ipa, which likely reflects the aging, although this dark orange-russet color will be familiar to those of you who drink GDBC’s Titan ipa with any regularity. A one-finger head quickly dissipated to rings, and the beer’s time on oak reduced carbonation to a faint presence on the palate. Yet the beer still tasted refreshing, even in July in Georgia, thereby bringing some ineffable "ipa-ness" through the oaking process. I assume that this reflects the judicious use of wood to enhance and transform, rather than smother, existing notes. Oaky vanilla becomes more notable as the beer warms, with sawdust and green wood notable after you’ve been sipping it for a half hour or so. And you may as well linger over it, because the biggest fault of this beer is that it is a seasonal rather than a year-round offering.

Bottle from the Cap & Hare. Pours a clear oragish brown color. Light white head. Aroma is light hops, wood, and some alcohol bourbon. Flavor is light wood, some hops and a bit of smacky alcohol. Bitter finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber with beige head. Aroma of fresh oak, malt, caramel, nut and earthy hop. Flavor is much the same with a drying oak aftertaste.....bit spice as well.....nice bitter at the end as well. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, solid brew!

Draft. Amber color, clear, light head. Caramelly hoppy aroma, nice taste with balance of bitterness. Good ipa.
