COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy-handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus.

This was as smooth of an ipa as i have ever had. The oak aging must really have contributed to this. Enjoyable!

Sampled at SBWF-10 Deep amber with a bubbly, white head. Sweet and malty, hoppy aroma. Sweet, almost sugary, flavour with warming alcohol. Low to medium bitterness.

Pours a dark orange, almost light brown color with a small head. Aroma is floral with slight pine needle notes. Flavor is crisp, however it is not sharp as other IPAs, and seemingly the only contribution of the oak aging is making the hop kick less present. Overall masks the alcohol content very well and is a very drinkable IPA.

Really liked this one...oak and pale ale works well for me. Has a really nice hop front to it that continues in to the middle of the palate, and then the oak mellows the whole thing out. I like this! subtle woody flavors and light vanilla notes finish it out. One of Great Divide’s better brews, IMHO...

Pours caramel brown color with small white head that quickly fades into a swirl on top. Aroma is of slight pine needles and flowers, with a slight hint of oak. Slight hops taste with with oak mouthfeel, but definitely still get the IPA.

Pours light brown/orange with a small white head that quickly fades into nothingness. Aroma is of light pine needles a slight amount of flowers. Flavor is light/crisp with subtle hops throughout, the oak aging seems to cut down on the hops in the brew but doesn’t add much else. Very drinkable for 7% alcohol.

medium brown with large white head. nose of oak and a subtle citrus hop note. medium carbonation. medium bitterness before a ton of oak, that is well done, but overbearing for the beer. a touch of citrus hop note before a dry finish. a beer that is well oaked, making it enjoyable to drink, but the ipa is not well represented in this beer

Poured a lit copper color. Lite head that disappeared. Aroma of malts and hops moslty with some oak. Taste is more bland than inspected. Lite to med bitter. Med carbonation. Sort of frothy palate. Hops there in taste, but doesn’t hit you like some ipas. I don’t taste much of the oak. Maybe a little during finish.

It’s missing the bite that most IPAs have, which gives it a flavor in its own right. A beer that has character and a great taste. Great Divide never disappoints.
