3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Premiere. A study in oak more than IPA, and maybe because of the bottling since August. Mid yelow body with a generous white head. Woody aroma, and taste. Creamy finish, some citrus orange throughout. Decent drinkability.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Deep amber body. Frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma has notes of tropical fruit (mango) and citrus including orange and grapefruit, resin, caramel and raw wood. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Moderately alcoholic in the finish. The aroma is better than the flavor with the unexpected tropical fruit notes. I prefer a cleaner, crisper IPA and this is more grainy, sticky.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours somewhere between amber and straw with a small head. Aroma starts as flowers, oak and pine, but gradually shifts to citrus and malt. Medium in body with a nice amount of carbonation. Flavor is quite hoppy with some pine and citrus. Malt sweetness is in the background, but not quite enough to offset the hops. Not bad, but needs a bit more sweetness.

Typical Great Divide. Medium-Full bodied, cloyingly tasty IPA with vanilla notes, pin, slightly citric, and tomahawk type hop, with a big character for the nose and a full bouquet. A bit off balanced which hurt it a bit.
