3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear copper color. This off white head that lasts with some nice lacing. Aroma is smokey, wooden and dusty. Creamy mouthfeel. Subdued bitterness and hop flavor. Mild bitterness. Well balanced. More body than most IPAs I have had.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A fun alternative to a normal IPA (the Titan perhaps?). Pours amber with a medium off-white head, slightly hazy and nice lacing. Aroma is caramel, oak and a very balanced and light citrus and pine touch. Not as extreme as most american IPA:s there. Taste is malty caramel and sweet to begin with, then the hops kick in for a nice citric bitter finish. Body is rich and creamy, very nice!

bottle, bottled on Jun 15, 11. citrus hop aroma. maroon pour with nice head. lots of caramel malts. the hops were more in the back, and a little in the finish. didnt really get any of the oak. a good beer, I prefer highly hopped IPAs though

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice aroma of oak, caramel, vanilla, citrus. The appearance is a nice deep amber, white head. The flavor is like the aroma, malt forward, caramel, oak upfront, citrus blending in nicely. The finish is citrus and pine hops. Medium in body, creamy mouthfeel. Solid.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of wood, citrus, and a bit of hops. Flavor is more malty than expected for an IPA-citrus, pine, hops, and definitely wood. Very well-balanced beer. Nicely done.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank from the 12oz bottle. Oak barrels seem to provide a malty taste, itís very balanced. Good hop-bitter aftertaste. Very good. Kind of roasty.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, short lived white head, with some lacing, over an orange amber (SRM 8) body....nose is light citrus, pine, herbal spice....taste is light toffee/caramel, pine, citrus, very light vanilla, finishing with lingering grapefruit peel bitterness....mouth feel medium, carbonation high with a foamy sensation. This is not hopped with a heavy hand, thus allowing the malts to come more forward than is often found in "American IPAís". BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

Surprisingly malts. Shocked by the caramel malt before I even noticed the hops, honestly.
