COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rumble IPA is an American IPA with subtle nuance. Brewed with heavy-handed additions of Pacific Northwest hops, this beer is gently aged on French and American oak resulting in a wonderful balance of bitterness, caramel sweetness, vanilla, and undertones of pine and citrus.

One of the least bitter ipas I have had, a lot of sediment in the bottom of the bottle which makes it cloudy

Draft at 30 Hop. Pours fairly clear copper with big white head and lacing. Nose is mild hops. Nice caramel sweetness in the taste.

Barrel aging pulls all the bright floral and citrus flavors out of ipas and this one is no different. Better than most because its not sweet but flavor is melded together and unpleasantly bitter

Bottle. Pours a bronze color with a white head. Slight oak, malty, slight cheerios, herbal aromas. A lot more pronounced oak/wood in flavor with other notes of herbal, hoppy, spicy hop flavors. Doesn’t exactly do it for me. Also has a bit of wood cleaner note that I’m not digging.

Old rating. Nice oak ipa. Vanilla helps cuts bitterness. Still has strong sweet caramel background, but feels creamy.

Hazy dark orange pour into Sprecher pint glass. Terrific nose: citrus, biscuit, vanilla, and syrupy caramel. Such a unique flavor. The oak aging seemed to have done wonders for this IPA. It has a strong vanilla sweetness in the front. A rich syrupy caramel flavor that leads into the hop bitterness. The finish is long with a spicy hop dryness and a very faint smokiness.

FIRST rating - surprised no one else rated this. On tap at Rattle’n’Hum in 2012. Amber pour with some lace. Floral, sweet, cidery, lightly metallic aroma, with a bit of smoked malt too. It is sweet for an IPA - the oak seems to cancel out the hops a bit. Good, but I like regular Rumble more.

Thanks to Matt. Sweet, well-balanced, and delicious. Dry West Coast type hops matched with a dollop of malty sweetness. It tastes like broiled grapefruit with brown sugar, with a touch of oak. Very good.

Light not overly hopping, very light on the palate. Interesting flavor vanilla?

Bottle. Fruity, oily nose, very light on hop, with some vanilla notes. Well balanced in the mouth, not much hoppy for an IPA. The oak notes are light

Rated from notes taken 29 Sep 2011 -- Recommended by the dude at Beach Liquors. Not a hop bomb, but I really like the complexity between the sweet clean flavors and the strong hops.

12oz bottle - Aroma - light vanilla, brewed tea, medium aromatic hops, and a touch of toasted malt. Appearance - clear, golden orange with a tight white head, decent retention and nice sticky lacing. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, carbonation on the softer side...very smooth Flavor - sweet, vanilla notes, grapefruit, a touch of oakiness and lemons on the finish. Overall - a little too sweet/malt forward. I liked the wood aspect but the hops need to be amplified a bit more.
