pours with a nice head and dark amber color. the malt flavor is outstanding. not much bitterness in the finish. has a good solid flavor much like and aged wine. this ale is a keeper.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Ipa meravigliosa!

Amazing beer. I’m a huge IPA fan as well as Oak Aged beers. This is basically an Oak Aged Titan to my tastes.....which is a GREAT thing! It has a great warm flavor. Hoppy start with a taste of vanilla - but it’s subtle. The finish gets that oak thing going. Just a SUPER beer! I highly recommend trying this if you dig IPAs or Oak Aged beers! One of my favorite craft brew companies as well!

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2013 Silky smooth, subtly complex, delicious balance of gently aged sweetness and hoppy bitterness. I love this beer and eagerly await it every year!

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells awesome! Some fruity hops and a bit of the center when you bite into a hop bite. This is quite tasty without being too aggressive. You could probably session this beer. Nice.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2013 An absolutely delicious part of my top 5 beers ever. Oak aged so it has a nuance not seen in other IPA’s but still has the classic over the top hop head hop attack that you have come to know and love. I have enjoyed both in bottle and on tap, and both are epic. A beautiful creation.

Magically delicious. An insanely good balance of mildly spicy hops, vanilla, and sweet malty goodness. Great divide awesome as always.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2010 Growler. Poured a almost clear dark copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma: vanilla & citrus upfront, pine, tea, sweet fruits & malts. Taste is very much the same but with a nice mild malt backbone. Medium/light body, faint sticky mouthfeel. Has a sharp bitter finish with vanilla and sweet fruit lingering on for some time. Overall a excellent beer: good depth & balance.
