| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Not great, unfortunately.... the worst of the sampler that I had from them. Pours slightly hazed, straw-gold into the glass with a light frothy white head that diminishes. Citrus, lemongrass and straw to the nose. The flavors are much the same, dry, with an emphasis on the straw/grain aspect, from the rice contingency. The finish is dry, not necessarily bitter, but a light hop is noted... almost subdued. Carbonation levels are "too" present, fighting the brew to gain dominance. All in all, it probably does go down well in the summer months, but as an all-around offering, I would not go out of my way to have it again. ROGUE (652), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2008 Pours a hazy straw yellow with an enormous white frothy head. Light but crisp and sharp favors. There is a quick tang of citus follwed by a hoppy grain flavor. A decent brew. Only objection is the large head that took some time to disapate, may just be my 6er. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 28, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with lots of floaters and a big white airy head. Aromas of citrus, light fruit scents, and something else I cant quite figure out, nuts of some sort maybe? Flavors a actually pretty clean and crisp, some citrus, some malt, cant taste any hops though. This a very easy drinking beer, would be a good lawn mowing beer. Beershine (2686), Hue, Vietnam

Nice balanced aroma. Fruity, citrus rind tang, sourdough bread and toasted rice. High carbonation but quaffable. scoth (274), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Smells of apple, rasins, citrus. The notes in the aroma are subdued in the flavor. It reminds me somewhat of a junmai sake. Mildly bitter, slightly piney aftertaste. Thin and dry body.
